Loved the legend! This was a great fairytale ride. I loved Harry/Prospero and Severus walking around with the little dragon on his shoulders.
I also loved the way Harry worked his way into Severus' heart!

Well done, teamie!

*pictures Harry skimming over the water in his full dragon form*

Fantastically woven story. I adored Harry as Prospero, the way there was a sort of Fidelius charm about him, Narcissa's and Aberforth's characters added a great layer. Good old Great Uncle Albus leaving Severus to deal with the mess he'd made-that sounds like canon. ;) Harry's original dragon form was magnificent and I loved the little snippets of him playing in the water or flying through the air. Great job.

Oh that was delightful! What an inventive dragon legend. *g*
I loved the way you incorporated the canon characters into your AR. Well done!
A thoroughly enjoyable read, although your phoenix facts are a bit off. *giggles*

I loved the dragon/human legends - so original & well-created. The whole story was marvelously creative - the kind of story that compels you to read through it quickly because you're dying to find out what happens next. Fantastic story-telling.

what a nice plot idea! it's also my first AR that still has magic in it... I love the evil phoenix!! there's always place to make some subtle hints about team loyalties haha...
I would have loved a bit more smuttiness, but otherwise: very nice indeed!

To quote Snape, "It has merit."

Snicker. Sorry, I just had to use that line. It's just so perfectly Snape.

Okay, now for the story.

OMG! You got in not only Harry as animagus, but you gave him TWO dragon forms! Then you gave us a phoenix almost barbequed (snicker) and even more dragons. All in the beautiful time element of Edwardian England (or so it felt). Loved the centaur hansom driver, the way you snuck in the canon characters.

I am in absolute awe of anyone who can create non-canon Magic (far beyond my ability), not to mention the spells, the plants, the way this Magic is used... Kudos to you for that alone!

Then there are Draco and Narcissa, who are slightly the same as canon, yet also different. Really liked them by the end of the story.

LOVED Prospero. Until you uncovered him to be Harry, I was wondering if you might lend him to me for stud purposes. Mei-Ping is getting nesting feelings and I was hoping (sniff...guess not) to offer you the choice of litter. Now I know that Severus would not be very obliging. ;-)

Great story. Definitely at the head of the dragon point race.

Brook! I've been waiting for this story to post for quite some time. I'm so excited it's finally up.

I love everything about the story. The dragons, greedy Dumbledore, rich Severus, crazy Lestranges, Prospero (I want one of my own), Harry...too much to name. You even make me tolerate Malfoys (and that's a feat, let me tell you).

I really like Harry and Severus's dynamic. Harry's at first the unwanted ward/charming pet, then he's the object of Dumbledore's manipulations (well done there), then he's a dragon learning his way in life, and finally he's Severus's lover. Meanwhile, Severus changes as well, but in more subtle ways. He's not as high strung as he is in the beginning and he manages to care about other people.

All in all, really fabulous work. Go Dragons!

Wow -- Fantastic!!! I did figure out Harry/Prospero fairly quickly, but the unraveling of the other elements was nicely paced and delightful. Loved how you integrated other canon characters, esp. Narcissa and Draco's roles.

I am so impressed! This has to be one of the most fully re-created AR's I've seen done for the HP universe.

Wow. The characterizations were recognizably canon (your interpretation of Dumbledore was outstanding, I thought), Harry was still a Chosen One of sorts, and there was even some semblance of the three Deathly Hallows. But your world feels completely different to JKR's. I love the Victorian/Edwardian atmosphere that you've evoked, with its lovely fusion of science and magic and mysterious young wards. I also love that you twisted it completely away from JKR's stories by building new myths, creating a different social structure and bringing the resulting world to life. I was caught up immediately and enjoyed the entire ride. Well done!

(And thanks for a great read!)

I am proud of myself because I figured out Harry/Prospero before Severus did. :-)

Very nice AU with Victorian touches and a very real atmosphere. I especially liked the canon characters showing up in unexpected places.

This was phenomenal!

I loved every instant I spent reading and was quite sad to see the end. I love the magical AR and Harry as part dragon just made me smile.

This was a brilliantly written story that I'll read again and again.

Wonderful story. I loved how Severus could feel the weight of the situation on his shoulders when Prospero was also sitting up there as well. Wonderfully creative and original! Also liked how you brought in the competition between the teams! Wonderful work!

Truly a masterpiece of AR. Edwardian setting, a canonesque Snape, the beautiful back story to the dragon and the phoenix, the wonderful weaving in of canon characters in supporting roles, Harry as a ward who can stand up for himself, and Prospero, who truly was a surprise, but he captured my heart long before I knew. So ingeniously plotted and beautifully written!

Of course, as a Team Dragon member, you win the big cahuna, you know!! ROARRRRR--this is a first prize story for sure!!!

I still love this story! I adore the relationship between both Prospero and Snape as well as Harry and Snape. The mystery/puzzles angle works on so many levels here, first with Prospero then with the opal.

Great job!

Go dragons!

Wow! This is easily one of the most fleshed-out AR/AUs I've read. I love the legends and mythology woven almost effortlessly into the story line and the unique alchemical/elemental spin you put on the magic. I also appreciated that you stuck to canon characterisation on a basic level: Albus the manipulator, aloof Severus, and exuberant Harry (who, naturally, has some grand destiny, hee). Excellent story. :)

What a fun story--very cute how you wiped out the Phoenix threat for your team, but even more wonderful how you used the Snarry competition to spark your imagination for such a creative story. I loved the period setting, and the way the relationship between Prospero, Harry and Severus developed. I loved how Prospero expressed emotions that Harry was unable to express at first--the way he was physically drawn to Severus and able to communicate with him from the start and the way that developed into human love.

I also liked the way you re-imagined magic--it didn't seem about waving a wand and spells as much as it was rituals and transfiguration--more complex magic, less everyday magic. I don't know if it was intentional, but I really liked the subtle change it made to the magical world we're used to with HP.

I was curious about exactly what happened with Draco and Harry while they were away--I was very curious about their adventure. A little worried that Draco might try to entice Harry away, I must admit, but it seemed like a fun trip, and I wished I'd seen more of it.

Mostly, I think that this was such a rich world that you could create a novel-sized fanfic out of it, so all of the hints you gave of things happening off-stage or things merely alluded to, made me want more.

Awesome job!
