And I *love* that Eiri has not *completely* let Seijirou in. Eiri is indoors, without geta--they're right there at the foot of the verandah where he left them. Seijirou is still outside, still has his shoes on, and the teacups are still waiting to be filled. Eiri's very formal posture is so well-done. Even the muted colors contribute to the period feel. You've really generated a lot of romantic tension using just a few very subtle cues.
