Artist's Notes: Drawn from pissed off eskimo's "He Defines Me", Chapter 6: With Severus there, he could lay close and feel the comfort of something solid next to him. Which was how he was right now, his head pillowed on Severus chest, his ear pressed against the scratchy grey cotton of Severus' nightshirt, listening to the man's steady heart beat and letting it lull him to sleep.

This is so incredibly beautiful and poignant! I love the monotone colour palette you've used for this, it makes the picture feel so quiet and peaceful. Snape still frowning, even in sleep = fantastic. And I love how you can see his shape, even underneath the sheets.

And Harry, oh lord. I love his long, gangly, youthful limbs and yet his frame is still so small and skinny. Amazing job with overlaying photoshop colour on pencils; I've been trying to do this myself in some non-fandomy art, and it's definitely not as easy as it seems/looks. *admires muchly!*

	How wonderful and sweet! I love the way Harry's clinging to Snape, and the way Snape is still vaguely scowling, even though he's asleep. There's something very calm about all of it, which fits very nicely with the fic. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Drawing people in actual sleeping positions is so remarkably hard for me that I go green with envy at your skill. moans It's just lovely. I adore the way Harry is curled up against Snape, and you can almost feel him pressing up close for warmth, and Snape looks like he's fallen asleep resisting, perched on the edge of the bed as he is.
