Artist's Notes: This work is dedicated to the fabulous DementorDelta! Delta has long been one of my favorite fanfic authors, and Dumbledore's Folly is a story I fell in love with. (Go read it here: http://www.walkingtheplank.org/archive/viewstory.php?sid=643) Long after I finished reading it, the image of Severus and Harry sharing a kiss "for luck" inside that folly stayed in my mind. And it's the first thing I'd think of whenever that fic was mentioned or recced. This is for you, Delta

The beam of light is soooo beautiful! And the kiss is so tentative. And some details I love: Harry's mouth, Severus' Adam's apple, the contrast of the tender kiss and the gripping hand on Harry's shoulder. And the light, again :)

This is beautiful, and brings back all of the great moments from Dumbledore's Folly that I love. Now I just have to convince myself to go to bed instead of re-reading the story, but, gah! you brought the scene to life, and I have no willpower when it comes to Delta's stories.

You did a wonderful job, the whole picture feels suffused with light, and creates a lovely romantic atmosphere. Great angle on the folly too, it feels airy and not the least bit oppressive, as stone walls often do.

For some reason my eyes pick out the hand, but I absolutely adore the light coming in too. Just Severus clutching him, pulling him close. Adorable.

Naww cute cute! I really adore Harry especially in this. You have caught him in perfect mid-movement, like, you snappy a photo right as he leaned forward all urgently to plant a kiss on Snape's smacker. Also the lighting in this is gorgeous and so wistful, but hopeful! Love. :D

This lovely picture reminds me that it's time to reread that wonderful story again!

I like so many things about this: the bright light streaming through the window, the awkward and tentative kiss, Snape's nose and adam's apple--and of course, that steadying hand on Harry's shoulder. Beautiful!

OMG Yay! I finally got to see yours! And it's gorgeous! Just like I knew it would be! And isn't Dumbledore's Folly just great? It always gives me the butterflies when I read it. I never tire of it! Delta's fics have that impact on me. :D

Anyway, yeah, this fanart is just beautiful! I love the lighting and the colouring and the scene you depicted is perfect!

I love it!!! I know you knew it but I want to write down here too that I think your draw is beautiful! I like the way the lips of Snape meet Harry's and I really love the light from the window. The romanticism is really high and simple at the same time! Great!
