AAIIEE! I could not have asked for anything better from my prompt.

I have to tell you that when I threw this prompt out there, I never expected the direction you managed to take this. Kudos to you for taking this to a better place than my mind imagined.

An absolutely lovely tale!

I really loved the idea of magic transplants and Severus losing his magic being the reason he left. I don't think I've ever seen either of these ideas played out before so that made it a really interesting read.

Also loved the mushy stuff and the sound of Severus's cottage. Thanks for the great read!

As Eeyore said, this was a lovely romantic fic that I truely enjoyed. I especially liked the mpreg potion at the end and would love to see these two coping with twins!

The bond was lovely and I always have a large soft spot for powerful!Harry.

Great fic. *Smiles*

oh the idea of magical transplants is very interesting. Severus and Harry were both very IC for this, and the sex was hawt! and huzzah for future mpreg!

Oooh, this was very sad and angsty and H/C in the first part and then just showered us with fluffyheartlove at the end! Yay for schmoop.

Also, I really *love* your Snape-as-concierge. I'm sure he was very, very good, elegant and efficient and knowledgeable and quiet. So much so that guests would note he had a way of just "seeming to appear when you needed him," and that "he had a way of knowing what you needed, practically as though he could read your mind!" :D

This fic has lots of my favorite things: lovely hurt/comfort followed by love and bonding and Severus getting his magic back. Loved every bit of it. Thanks mystery author for your delightful submission. CB

Oh, how lovely! I loved the slow, soft progression, the way it just sort of flowed over me. And the line about showing Severus not only that Harry could love him, but that he could be loved... perfection. Great job!

This story was wonderful. Obviously a lot of thought and care went into keeping Harry and Severus carefully in character. I love the references back to canon and how you used the attraction to explain the end of the Occlumancy lessons.

Totally incredible and well written fic!!! -Clare

What a sweet story! It was a beautiful moment when Severus realized that he had to go outside of his comfort zone if he was ever going to have a chance with Harry.

This was an engaging, intense read. Both the magical core transplant and the One True Love were fascinating concepts, and I really liked how you used them to get Severus and Harry together. The overall effect was romantic, yet not completely angst-free. Also, the alternating viewpoints worked very well in establishing their situations early on, and I really enjoyed getting to know how each of them felt about what was happening. Two of my favourite bits:

The mystery was solved when a small group of house-elves had emerged from the shadows the first day he and Harry took possession. Severus had been mildly disgusted as he watched the diminutive creatures fawn over his blushing lover, startled to find a hint of jealousy in himself over the adoration.

Without hesitation, the dark wood rose into the air and flew to Severus' hand with a resounding slam. McGonagall snorted softly, the sound halfway between a laugh and a sob, and while elation filled Harry, it was the look of incredible joy on Severus' face that brought him to tears. Throwing himself across Severus' chest, their hearts beating against each other, Harry let all his fears bubble away and all his hope for a future come together as he was held tightly.

I thought that I'd commented on this story, but obviously not! I loved the premise of Harry sharing his magic with Severus, it's just the sort of thing he would do and you handled it brilliantly.

Utterly brilliant! I adore bonding fics, and this is another one I will return to again and again. The concept of One True Love and the magical transplant were inspired. I love it when someone takes the beginning premises of the magic JKR tempted us with, and explore it to a fully realized, believable, and amazingly detailed concept.

Sweet, sexy, and fantastically romantic, the beloved characters were perfectly rounded out in their support of Harry and Severus. The details of Harry and Severus's lives, their connection, the realistic bend to the angst, the build-up to the climactic surgery, and the wonderful implication of the Mpreg just made my night.

Thank you for sharing, darling!
