In two weeks, SMA will host a social in honor of the end of summer and beginning of fall. Since this will take place the weekend before Chuseok, holiday-related refreshments will be served. Music will also be provided. It is highly encouraged for all trainees to attend this function in order to meet and mingle with new trainees.

Date: Saturday, September 18th
Time: 7PM
Location: Dance room 1
Dress: Casual. Keep in mind that a formal dance will take place this winter.

A little bit about me is that I am an average girl I love sweets (but nothing melon flavored those are gross) and I enjoy bubblebaths and I love sleeping~

Hello, I'm Heo Youngsaeng and...I'm new. This will probably be pretty boring since it's just information on myself. I'm 18 and I'm in room 106. I haven't seen my room mates yet so I'm not too sure who they are.

I'm here for singing and piano. I am also really interested in cooking and originally I was going to go to cooking school......aigoo this isn't very long, but I'm already out of things to say. I hope I'm not this boring in real life.

My name is Lee Sunkyu, and I am a new trainee here at SMA! I am seventeen years old, and I just graduated high school a few months ago! It's nice to meet you all!

I'm here to train to be a singer, and I am going to do my absolute best to make everyone here proud of me!

But this is an introduction, right? So that people get to know me...well...

My name is Sunkyu but you should call me Sunny! I love to swim and I love playing video games. You'll probably see me around with my DS...well, once I finish moving in. Someone should come and have a Tetris competition with me...but, I have to warn ya, I'm really good at it.

Well, since it has been like THREE MONTHS, I suppose I should say hello to those of you who are newcomers or those of you who don't remember me (I know three months is a long time, don't worry, I won't be offended.)

I'm Song Seunghyun, eccentric guitarist or room 103 (unless I've been moved? I'll have to check that out ><).

A big thank you to everyone who participated in SMA's First Official Dance Battle. Although some of the audience members were far too rowdy (you know who you are) the competition was a success. Here are the winners:

1st prize - Samsung Wave Phone: Park Jaebum of room 109, with 39 points.

2nd prize - A day at Dragon Mountain Spa, all expenses paid for: Lee Seunghyun of room 202, with 37 points.

3rd prize - A 100,000 won gift card for COEX mall: tie between Dong Youngbae of room 202 and Lee Minyoung of room 204 with 33 points (you will each receive a 100,000 won card).

Also, the following trainees have the week off from training for volunteering as judges: Oh Jinhwan, Kim Yoojin, and Han Geng.

All competitors clearly gave their best effort and have done well to represent the Academy. If there are any dancers who wish to see the notes made by the judges, they are available in the Chairman's office.

Since this was such a success, as a reward there will be an upcoming Fall Social next month. More details will be posted in a week or two.

Hi there! I'm Park Bom, 19 years of age, residing in apartment #205! I think my roommate's Japanese? Aragaki Yui-san, domo~! Apart from Korean and Japanese; I can speak English too from spending my childhood in the States, but forgive me if my accent's a bit rusty, keke~ 

I'm training to be a singer (I can play a few instruments as well, though) and I've done a good number of sets at independent concerts here and there ^^;
