I guess I "lucked" out. My name is Suzanne. As a result, people insisted on nicknaming me "Suzy" and all manner of associated references (I loathe any song with the name in it now. I hate all variations and nicknames of Suzanne save for Zanne anyway so that doesn't help. Only Suzy related nickname I liked was from my best friend's younger brother, Uzi Suzy, which amused the hell out of me for a lot of reasons) Coupled with being deaf, nobody ever got around to noticing I was and still am a bitty little thing.

*uses an Ed icon because*

I guess I got a sort of double whammy, my first height related nickname also rhymes with my name: "Bridget the Midget" (which, eventually, just got shortened to "Midget"). I did have a bunch of rhyming nicknames though: Bridge, Bridgey, Idge, Gidget...

My younger sister is 2 or 3 inches taller than me, so I would call her "Shorty" to put her in her place. She just called me "Shorter". *sigh*

I got my first height related nickname from a friend in first grade. He called me "Bridget the Midget" and it sort of stuck. Mostly because of the rhyme. And, while they're not height related, I've had a bunch of other rhyming nicknames: Bridge, Bridgey, Idge, and Gidget. I seem to have accumulated a lot of nicknames over the years. heh.

Heh. My younger sister is 4 or 5 inches taller than me, and I used to call her "little sister," but she'd just call me "little sister" right back. So now I use "baby sister" :-P

I have a variety of nicknames... it seems like inventing new ones for me is like a hobby for my friends.

My height-related one is Mini-Lexi [since my name is Lexi]. I suppose it's better than "Dyslexia".... -___-;; [get it? ahaha. not funny. >__<]

Hey, me too. ("Bridget the Midget" being the first one that most of them are derived from...Although I kind of insisted they stop calling me that after I heard about a pornstar with the same moniker...)

I used to be a shortest kid in my class until about 13 and then shot into a stratosphere. Ah, memories... Our PE coach used to make as line up by height and do a head count. The last person was supposed to step forward and say end of count. Guess who it was for many years :) Thinking back, it sounds pretty militant. So I voted in your poll on account of experience from years back (and not looking at profile page:). Hope it's OK.
