Author/Artist Interviews 2009

Ever wanted to ask JoanWilder (RaeWhit) where she gets her inspiration from to write all that hot smutty goodness? Have you ever wondered whether Severus *sighs* ever puts his foot down about being the butt of Accioslash's jokes? Or, have you ever wanted to know which of DementorDelta's stories she thinks is her best work?

Well, now is your opportunity, as the questions for the Author/Artist Interviews 2009 are being taken by the Webmistresses.

Those taking part are...

So, if you have any questions you want answered, whether generally to all participants or specific to an individual story, send them to the Webmistresses. Questions must be relevant to writing or the world of Harry Potter, which means any about bra sizes or what they sing in the shower will not be accepted. That said, as this is to be fun for all involved - participants and readers - light-hearted ones are welcome.

Offer your questions in a comment to this post or send them to severus.sighs AT gmail DOT com. Comments to this post are screened so the author or artist doesn't have time to devise an alibi will be pleasantly surprised.

These are probably really lame (and late), but I would love to know if there was a writer that they tried to emulate when they first began (not imitate, but a style that they would try to aim for).

Also, what are their squicks, and have they every tried to push themselves to write through one?

And if they could have one cheesy piece of Snape-memorabilia without worrying about the opinions of others, what would it be (honestly!)

What is their favorite of their own work? What work do they think is cringe-worthy, but they were surprised to see it constantly recc'ed?

If they could take down just one of their works from the net to rewrite, which would it be, and what would they change?

What is their greatest pleasure/pain-in-the-butt in writing fanfic?
Winoniel,

Those are excellent questions, and I wish we could have asked them! Unfortunately the interviews have already been sent out, so it's too late to add them. : ( I'm sure we'll do another round of these eventually, though, so do keep them in mind for then!

(Can't wait to see you in Austin!!)
