    Listserver taken down
    Greetings!

I have taken the listserver down for the time being. Everything is down because I need to migrate it to the new server. I expect to be completed tomorrow.

    Squidge LJ-style service poll
Walter has a new poll up on http://squidgestatus.livejournal.com/17489.html about setting up a journal service on squidge. You guys might want to check it out.

Many blessings heaped on Helen -http://stageira.insanejournal.com/ 's head for the heads up.

    down again
Looks as though the server came up, and went back down again. All before I could post anything.
Just the list server. Websites seem okay.

I have been checking the LJ status page, but nothing has been said. I posted over there, as well as sending an email to Walter.

    Squidge listserver down
Something's up with the listserver - it is not responding at the moment. I'm attempting to get to the bottom of it, but it's even locking me out right now. I'll have an update soon.

Mail for the listserver will be held until accepted by the server so nothing should be lost.

    mailing reminder
    As posted to SENAD -

From Walter. It will come down, eventually, to no AOL addresses being allowed if this continues. This is not the first time. Nor the second, or third...

This will affect *all* squidge lists, not just Senad.

    >I have had an increase in AOL members marking Squidge listserver email

    > listserver reported Squidge as a spammer, resulting in Juno and
    > Easystreet (my ISP) getting involved, and resulting in a monetary fine
