But this is all the romantic hijinks all Spidey-fans were asking for, right Mr. Queseda? This is the fantasy life all Spidey's hip young readers want. Full of stereotypes, piss-portrayals of women and a "hero" who acts like an idiot (which Peter Parker should NOT be). Jeez, it's hard to believe the same Wacker who edited 52 edits this.
Two points: 1) Once again (for the 4th time in 2 months) Michelle looks completely different. Latino women are not hard to draw! They look like everyone else. The editors obviously could care less since they can't be bothered to keep continuity art for a character they've talked up as an important new player in the books (at least for the next several months).
2) Based on the issue that just came out (just finished it - didn't bother to buy it, read it at the comic store) MJ was not exactly thinking positive thoughts about Peter when she came back to NY. Based on her dumping of Bobby Carr (another victim of BND is how MJ is written, the old Mary Jane would never taken up - let along be seeming to happily live with - a new "Tiger" who was such a douche and a skeeze who thinks she's getting old and wants her to lie to the cops for him) because she didn't want to "do secret identities any more" so she didn't come back because of Peter but in spite of him (not letting their failed relationship drive her from NY).
Yet since she's been back she is everywhere he turns and very touchy-feely around him. Now unless she wants him back (and he would do it in a second, no matter how they broke up) this is bizarre. MJ is not this flirtatious with even Harry or seemingly anyone else. I know Marvel wants to tease readers with the MJ/Peter thing but ... come on, we know they're not getting back together (at least not under the current regime) - stop taunting the poor boy, Mary Jane.
