Due to Marvel's rights over the name "Fu Manchu" lapsing, the series will probably never be printed in ESSENTIAL editions.

Well, the first few Fu Manchu novels are already in public domain. A few characters that appeared in Shang Chi's original series come from stories that haven't lapsed into public domain yet, but that will change in the next decade or few (I am not sure when all the novels in question were published, so I can't give you more precise figures).
