	Wanda mentions a flight belt, and the caption box says its from issue 16. So I was wondering if said flight belt turns up later in the story, or if they just felt the need to have her randomly recollect something that happened aaaaaaages ago. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It was one of those opening bits in a comic where a character is doing something the reader knows they shouldn't (in this case, Wanda flying) and it's all explained after the couple of pages. Nothing too exciting. It was as Wanda exposits. She was trying out a gadget for Stark. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I think that footnote is a typo...the issue where Wanda was mistakenly shown flying was #153. Of course that still doesn't explain why they bothered explaining it in a random line of dialogue a year later. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I was wondering that too. In the end (before looking up the actual reason on ebay) I decided that an aged Magneto somehow gained super speed and renamed himself "The Whizzer". It made it so much more enjoyable to read that way too. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
