Mr and Mrs. Kent walked down to the basement and found their son leaning against one of the bookcases, hugging his legs and resting his chin on his knees.
"I'm going to be the most reviled character in comics history, just because DC doesn't like their fans."
"It's not that bad, son. They're already doing another mini. People will forget about you whenever the Black Lanterns' boss shows up."
"And anyway, the scene is a joke. It's got you complaining about Final Crisis being over, like you were waiting for it when you were in it, and your father had already read the book."
"I guess."
"Knock knock."
"Come on down, Lori!"
"Still sulking Clark? Isn't that all you've been doing when you're off panel?"
"Can we not talk about panels, or anything to do with comics right now?"
"Aw, but I brought you a gift. Check it out, Superman: Secret Identity."
"WHat's it about?"
"It's about a guy named Clark Kent on a world where there's Superman comics. The writer said you inspired it. And I dug out this issue of Legion of SUperheroes."
"I really don't want that."
"Sure you do. Check it out. A Superman look alike telling stories that could have happened during Final Crisis. And now we know it's on Earth-Prime. Could be you."
