A Fun Storyline

I got a lot of the run of that 1980s Kazar series from the quarter bin of my comics store and got a lot of enjoyment from those issues. The Belasco story was a real highlight, though I regret that Shanna, normally such a strong character, was reduced to such a glassy-eyed victim. The Dante and Beatrice part of the story adds a special layer of weirdness to the story.

I really like him as a villian. As far as I know B has only been used in this story and the X-men one. Too bad.

he's been used in a number of X-Men stories since the initial one, most recently in New X-Men during Illyana's return.

Yes. thats what I said. I think he hould be used much wider in the Marvel universe.

I think he's also appeared in some truly horrible Fantastic Four issues, and of course Earth X. But it's best if both are forgotten...

That whole Jones/Anderson run of Ka-Zar is pretty amazing. Don't think it's ever been collected, which is a shame.

As much as I like the computer aided coloring possible now day. This are really shows what people could do with just pencil and inks. :)

Was this before or after he lost his arm? The artwork makes it difficult to tell.
Also, while this is beautiful artwork, I wish they'd stuck to the usual shape of horns. Those weird bulb-shaped things on Belasco's forehead just don't spell 'horns' to me.

I believe the edlder god take his arm due to this failure. Not sure tho'
