The only way I could possibly even begin to care was if Batgirl turned out to be Harvey Bullock.

There are only two characters I can think of with purple eyes

1) Elizabeth Taylor (though I think she used contacts)... Not likely to be her

2) Aqualad/Tempest/Garth of Atlantis. Now HIM I can see putting on the outfit so he can be near Dick again.

So...our only indicator is the color of the character's eyes, which tends to be mistaken depending on the colorist. Joy.

Still say it's Steph, though.

Yeah well according to some sources Cass had green eyes, and yet she's always drawn with black eyes, so what's one more colouring mistake, right? I'm going to keep clinging to that dream until they tear its bloody corpse from my weakened hands, and that's that.

Aha! Purple eyes! A dead giveaway.

It's AQUAGIRL. (Pre-Crisis canon was, Atlanteans born with purple eyes would eventually lose their ability to breathe water and would have to migrate to dry land. This story is reprinted in both the Aquaman Showcase and Archive.)

It's me. I'm Batgirl. I misread the contract thinking I was gonna get my own book as Catgirl, and now I'm stuck with it. I'm supposed to be under a non-disclosure agreement, but to hell with it. They pissed me off when they wouldn't let me have Stephanie as love interest, saying they already had a lesbian Bat-female and I'd have to date Dick Grayson. Eww! I told them to shove it, but so far they're not listening to me.

So sorry about the spoiler (no pun intended) and sorry you'll have to go through all this again I find a way to make them fire me.
