Likable, anyway. Athena was usually depicted as helpful, the power behind the throne, the mentoring inspiration of heroes in myth. Her occasional wild bitchiness wasn't business as usual. Arachne was the one who committed suicide, then Athena gave her a curse/gift.
Her relationship with Zeus was incredibly strong--if he trusted anyone most, it was her. So I was never happy with Rucka's depiction.
