I fully admit to being prejudiced against this comic because I don't like the art. I don't like the art because it seems like March's default style is hypersexualized cheesecake, and he's dialling it back from there to make it suitable for this comic. As a result, the whole thing just doesn't work for me.
And although I generally like Dini's writing, the art and the basic concept behind the book just make me wary. He says it's not going to be "Gotham Girls," but really, this just reads to me like "Grudgingly, Gotham Girls." Bleh.
