Spider-Man physics, you're doing it wrong!
I came across a few pages of hidden gems from WAAAAAY back... We're talking Spider-Man #2 and #3, so I don't think spoiler warnings apply here. These are things where even at the most basic level, it dosen't make any freaking sense. =p But it's amusing!
Ok.. he flips the manhole out into the street, and a central part of his getaway plan seems to be them not being able to get the manhole open. The same manhole he just opened for them. I can almost see the Guiness commercial now: "A self-replacing manhole cover? Brilliant!!"
Aliens with interstellar capability seem to think forcing the air out of a glass dome *with holes in it* will suffocate our hero in vaccuum. The only way this could possibly work is if they pulled the air out of the entire surrounding room!!
Ok, this is just crooks being not-smarter than your average bear! Heavy object on pallet with tiny wheels, check. Pallet on broken surface, check. Impossibly difficult movement, check!! Even if they could get it to move, they're about as stealthy as an M1-A1 tank.
