One Perfect Moment: Dex-Starr
Because it was one of my favorite moments in comics last year, from Final Crisis: Rage Of The Red Lanterns...

I don't care how many times this is posted. Someone could post this every single day and it would STILL BE AWESOME.

Kitty!

Aside from the blood-plasma-vomit, I thought it was typical cat behavior.

I would be unable to count the number of times my cat's lured me in with the cute act only to bite/claw my hand and run off.

Uh, it's a Lantern-level hairball.

Yea, it's still typical cat behavior.

You never met our demonic hellspawn..Satan rest his soul...Familiar.

I swear that cat could hurl on command...specifically if myself or the roommate were not getting out of bed fast enough to feed him.

Oh man Dex-Starr is awesome, I really hope he beomes a recurring character in the DC universe for years to come, because he is just that awesome.

Even if the rest of Blackest Night ends up being full of fail, it still gave us Dex-Starr, and, really, that's enough.

Oh, yes, indeed. I think he should have his own series, where he goes around acting like a normalish cat (normal as cats ever get) and then just suddenly going into rage-mode trying to catch mice or bat the fish out of the koi pond or in one of those random fits cats have where they race around the house yowling for no reason at all.

Also, a little old lady should own him and give him his true name (RUFFLES!)

Fun fact! Artist Shane Davis named Dex-Starr after his cat Dexter!

The artist named . . . Well, that certainly explains the intimate knowledge displayed in the kitty teeth/fangs as well as the paws/claws department.

There was an interview on Newsarama where it was revealed that Shane Davis put the cat in the background as a joke, but it became an actual Red Lantern when everybody who saw it said "That's awesome!"

And he was BOGGLED by it, but remained sane enough to insist on the name.

That's the best part to me...his creator is the only person in the company (or, you know, the world), who didn't realize he was awesome. >_>
