One Perfect Moment: Stephanie Brown
I think it goes without saying that even through all of the shit the DC writers put her through, Stephanie Brown is without a doubt one of the best young female characters in the DC universe. She's certainly my favourite, anyway. Throughout her career she has had many moments of sheer awesome to choose from, but the one I present to you now kind of trumps all of them, for me at least, because she manages to do something that even Batman couldn't do.

First, some context. It's issue 124 of Robin. Tim has let his Robin responsibilities slide, due to guilt at thinking he's killed a bad guy, Johnny Warren (he hasn't, Warren's magical powers where just out of juice, essentially, and he just needed time to recover them enough to fix his body). Anyway, Tim is being Emo!Robin and because of this, Bruce has officially issued an ultimatum: get over it, or get out.

Being the good boyfriend, Tim goes to see Steph, who got a broken leg from Warren, to take her out for some excercise. Unfortunately, Tim continues being emo at Steph, who doesn't take too kindly to his pity-party...

And that is how Steph was able to do what all of Batman's rants and threats failed to do, and made Tim realise he was being a complete twit. Naturally, Tim puts the costume back on and gets his mind back on the job, but by then it's all a bit of a moot point anyway as Tim's dad has found out what his son gets up to behind his back, and Tim decides to quit the job anyway at his fathers wishes. But I think that we can all agree, it's still a perfect Steph moment.

This is my perfect moment pick for Stephanie too! I love this so much...back when Tim was happy and Stephie was happy and they were happy together! *smishes them both*

*heart breaks* And then Tim quit being Robin and forgot about Steph for three weeks and they presumably broke up when Steph became Robin but we didn't even get to see it happen. >( And Tim didn't even shed a tear at the funeral. Cass mourned Steph a helluva lot more than Tim ever did. *growls* Ungrateful ass!

Stephanie is the only thing that comes out looking good in this art, though.
