Oh, I don't like it for the angst that resulted (I don't like angst, period); I like it for reasons like your second paragraph. Kon claiming LexCorp would be made of awesome. I want to see that happen when the Powers That Be in DC bring Kon back. Yeah, they didn't necessarily execute it well; maybe the DNA tests at Cadmus were falsified by someone who knew about the swap? And maybe the superhero groups just did a blood test for the sake of knowing his blood type in case of emergencies and he was the same type as Clark (say Clark's AB and Lex is B... he could get Clark's A gene and Lex's B gene and still be AB like Clark), and never felt a need to test paternity (maternity? paternity? ...which one did he get his mitochondria from and which did he get his Y-chromosome from? until I know, I think I'll just consider Clark his mom ;P) aside from Batman, who never managed to get ahold of a DNA sample. *ponders*
