One Perfect Moment: Reed Richards
Say what you will about Grant Morrison, but ya gotta admit that he could make Reed Richards cool. Following scans taken from Fantastic Four: 1 2 3 4, written by Morrison, art by Jae Lee(scaled to fit, via the magic of Photobucket).
Okay, here's the set-up; Doctor Doom has been using his Prime Mover computer(from back in the days of Jim Steranko's Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD) to manipulate Ben, Sue and Johnny, with a little help from Mole Man and Sub Mariner(who by the end of issue 3 changed sides, mainly out of anger at being partnered with Mole Man). With the rest of the FF on the ropes(or so Doom thinks), Doom sent his giant economy-sized Doombot to attack the Baxter Building where Reed is literally inside his think-tank;
Turns out Reed had suspected Doom's plans from the beginning, and built his own Prime Mover machine to counter Doom's 4D chess stragedies, with the help of Johnny and Namor;
Check and mate!
There's also a cool Susan Richards moment at the very end of this mini where she really tells off Doom, but I'll let someone else post that scene.
