No, Bat Toys. Sometimes Batman likes to come over.
I really didn't care for the whole Karen Star runs a big tech. company. Seemed like alot on the plate for a duel life as Powergirl. Ultrahumanite appeance was fab. tho.

Eh, if Batman can do all the stuff he does as Bruce Wayne, I figure someone with a dose of super-speed should be just fine.
I'm on the completely other end of the spectrum. I tuned out during the fight, and enjoyed the Starrware stuff. I think Karen Starr is a much more interesting character, in terms of being and interacting with others, than Power Girl.
I also liked the inpoved origin. Kara comes out of the rocket na'ked , not having "grown" into her outfit from childhood.
Cat has both eyes, looks like, and the color appears to be different. I think Peeg got a new cat.

The cat's been drawn inconsistently after Giffen left.

that cat really is made for the sinestro corps...
Power Girls cat vs. Ruffles. Who wins?
I ship Peej's cat/Dex-Star now, thank you very much.
I realy liked the comic. it should get even better.
I laughed at the "stop playing with my snowglobes" comment.
If this dude doesn't show up as a supervillain at some point in the nearish future, I'll be really disappointed.
This took a minute to load and as the picture came up at first glance I it looked like the guy was showing Peej implant options --
"And this one will still fill the, um, window but provide you with less ballast when flying"
There's a panel shown either from his POV, or the POV of someone sitting in his lap, where he's holding up the snowglobes.
I'm not entirely sure that was entirely different from what was on his mind.
Dammit! I wanna work for Peeg ( seriously how awesome would that be ) BTW what is her cat's name exactly?
Beware... the Continuity Geek!
I thought that cat was yellow.
Waitminit... the cat's gone from yellow-orange to gray... Ruffles the Rage Kitty is gray... and his real name is Dex-STAR... as in Karen STARR... hmm...
Not what I was expecting from "the real star of the book"... instead of the boob window, we're talking about Karen's... kitty. Progress?
A philosopher pondering the way a large corporate and/or national entity that controls resources should be run? It's more likely than you think!(That's right. Norway has a philosopher that influences the ethics of the way Norway spends and saves its oil money. Get with the cutting edge, Karen.)
I do like that the cat has the run of her office, because Rao forbid she leave the little bastard at home while she's at work. Bet the employees just love that.
Amanda Conner does the best backgrounds ever. I wanna pick this up, just for her art.
Who needs plot, I have Amanda Conner art. :D
I absolutely love her cat. It makes me so happy that Gray/Palmiotti/Conner remembered hir :)
I love how even though the cat's so tiny in the second panel, he just RADIATES malevolent hate. From the shadows, no less. |
