My thoughts under the cut.

I WANT to be happy, because anything besides the Babs uniform is unexpected, but the whole thing seems odd. Putting Babs in the Cass uniform would be a really strange choice on DC's part, because normally they like to go all-out in restoring the "iconic version". At the same time, Cass getting a new ongoing seems unlikely to me too. Maybe Steph?

Well, Cass getting her own series again would be the ideal, but my complaints would settle to a dull roar if it was Steph under the cowl. I don't THINK they'd put Babs in that costume, isn't half the appeal of her as Batgirl the visual of her lovely red hair flowing loose (and impractically) behind her? I can't imagine they'd waste the opportunity to exploit that iconic image.

Of course it could be a tease and the costume choice could have little to do with anything.

	I think the cover is symbolic. Whoever the new Batgirl is "breaking out" of the Cass Batgirl costume, probably to use a different design in the book. And yeah, it's gonna be Babs (Reply to this)

	Red hair would be a dead giveaway to Babs. Body type is more Cass, except the boobs. The boobs are along the lines of the "Boobara" Gordon of the Oracle mini. The scars are ... creepy. In the world of dc comics where just about anyone can come back to life and most wounds heal almost instantly, it makes far less sense to me that Babs is still paralyzed from the waist down, than if she were to somehow regain her mobility.

Also, she's proven herself a great leader throughout The Birds of Prey. With the use of her legs she'll remain a leader and she'll be able to get out in the field. There's potential for stories having her face where she's more useful: as Batgirl or as Oracle. Barbara has more tactical options that way. Cassie still needs to be a around.

Personally I'd be happy with Richard as Batman and Barbara as Batgirl, and they can live happily ever after as the new Dynamic Duo (and letting any offspring of Bruce's not related to Selina disappear into the retcon realm)

Ok, so this looks like Steph. I just won't accept that they are doing this with Barb. So maybe the book is a setup where Barbara is the old Bruce to Stephanie's Terry if you understand the Batman Beyond reference.

Despite my love for Cassandra I would love this comic. Hell, it would still be entertaining if it was Cassandra being put through the paces by Barbara.

Hell, what if its like the cartoon movie Mystery of the Batwoman and both the young ones are Batgirl to give the impression that shes ubiquitous?!?!

	If you ask me, the facial structure and body type look too young to be Babs. It's not really a "Babs" smile either. The boobs are much too big to be Cass though. My bet would be on Steph--the smirk fits her, and the backround is purple. She's young enough, and Robin did forbid her to be Spoiler (which is all bullshit anyway, but whatever)...but not Batgirl. I'd like for this to be Steph. If Babs regains mobility then she should become a new hero. A graduation/mix of both Oracle and Batgirl. Batgirl was the years of Babs' adolescence, you can tell because she was much more free-spirited. Oracle is her adulthood, darker and edgier if you will. A control freak who lacks control of her own body. It would be a much better storyline and definately more emotional for the readers if she transformed and evolved.
As for Cass, I just want to keep Didio away from her. But, she was my choice for Batman.

Okay so people freaking out about the stitches, it's just Cass's costume with the mouth piece torn off.....really not that hard to see that....I'll admit the colors, smirk and pouches really seem to point towards Stephanie, but I guess that could also be Cassandra cause of the slightly tan skintone, I'd say that's not 100% Caucasian but idk.

I have my theories since they're bringing Bette back into the Batwoman fold, but so far, I think Cass might keep it, she's just now changing her costume, becoming even CLOSER to Oracle and embracing her "wayness"

Cassandra Cain is dead. Cassandra Wayne isn't.

I'm going with the simplest answer; this is Cass. We'll then see more "I am Batgirl" images of other female characters, just like DC did with Battle for the Cowl.

Also, I've realized that the best possible outcome (for me at least) would be a book starring Cass AND Steph. I honestly don't care who's in what costume, I just want a series with the both of them. Some of the best moments of Cass's book were the interactions between the two.
