I always argue that someone of a longer lived, if not immortal span, would have an entirely different psychology. You know how there are certain songs, or smells, or combination of colours that immediately make you think of some poor time in the past? Now, imagine having that for the rest of your life in a very very long span. Assuming of course that memory capacity doesn't just begin overwriting itself after several hundred years.
