I got this one from an issue of Creepy but it was apparently a reprint of a story from Vampirella #58. This one is considered to be one of the better and more memorable Warren stories by a number of people.

The ending would have been more appropriate if it were set in the Congo, or deep in the Amazon rainforest, or some place like that where they actually practice cannibalism. The Masai, as far as I know, do NOT - and never have. The rest of it is pretty accurate - that manhood test is spot-on, and I like how they made the lion a female instead of a male, as the females generally do most of the hunting - but that ending just throws it off for me. At the very least, it borders on racism.
Still, at least the artwork is nice. 'Tis very pretty.
