THat's one of those examples of atheism going to far in the DCU.
How so? I've always thought that atheism is even more plausible in comic book universes. Take the DCU, with its multiplicity of gods, most of whom make pretty exclusive claims (at the pantheon level if not at the personal level). Add to that the sheer number of decidedly non-divine beings who can match or exceed any of the deeds attributed to gods or prophets, and the whole religion thing becomes quite laughable to those who aren't inclined to believe.
