More pages at The Source. (Also, Jason now doesn't have the white streak, looks like.)

Stripped buck naked (well, okay, not this time) and tied to a chair? Why does Jason think that's going to even slow them down? That's like Lesson Number 1 in Robin training.

When Morrison is mocking the conventions of comics in a meta-way (as he does here with a replay of the phone gimmick that killed Jason in the first place) I really enjoy him. Of course, he has to make sense as well (my problem with Final Crisis) but still...

Also I liked the white stripe in Jason's hair if only to serve as a reminder that he was dunked by Talia in the Lazarus Pit and could serve (even any writer want to bother) as an explanation for his violent nutso behavior. Talia herself was killed and put in the Lazarus Pit over and over again by Nyssa which could explain why she is being written now as pure evil.

What i like is that Damian doesn't give a crap about the situation he is in.

On a related note: I really want that Variant cover cos the pink 1 is an assault on the eyes.

WHOA. Ok, not as freaked out and loving the preview pages, however, still not loving the art.

(And so I guess now even Morrison can't figure what colour Jason's hair is? Does it have a white streak? Is it red? Is it black?! Le sigh)

Jason putting Dick and Damian in their undies and threatening the whole world to see? HILARIOUS. "As nature intended" is an awesome line. Glad he's not being portrayed completely as EVILISHOOTKIDSANDKILLEVERYONERAWR.

Also the caring for Scarlet thing? Says a lot. That he's willing to die to save people just harks back to his life as Robin (and during Winick's Under the Hood run).

Morrison could still pull something crazy out of this though, so not going to be too optimistic.

And I still hate the red hair.

So not only is Morrison giving Jason red hair (made slightly worse by the artist drawing him completely differently then... everyone), and make Jason into his parody/strawman for grim and gritty 90s heroes (even if the meta stuff is actually entertaining this time, it doesn't seem to fit), he's having Jason get his ass beaten by his (Morrison's) new villain character...
...This may be a wild assumption, but I don't think Morrison's too fond of Jason
(Of course, the solicit says that "Gotham's newest 'protector' reveals his identity to Batman", which makes no sense since he was 'revealed' to be Jason Todd in like his first appearance, maybe it really is an imposter of some sort... In which case, I'd genuinely like to see how Morrison pulls it off (though, I forget, is he good at writing conclusions?))

I'm really liking Flamingo from what we have so far and he has a lot of the qualities of a good Bat-villain, at least in my opinion. A good artistic design, a background which provides a dark reflection to Batman and a sense of originality and a dash of style. Perhaps my only problem is that I constantly feel that Flamingo would better against Bruce instead of being Dick's second new villain.

1. This would never have happened to Bruce (one of DC's greatest escape artists). Dick is too used to bondage that it's 2nd nature to breathing that he gets tied up.

2. The way this could REALLY end up back firing on the Red Hood is that once the cam finally DOES go online, it's shows male-on-male pedophilia (showing no faces). Jason's credibility would be forever tarnished ...
Hold on, there is a hell mouth opening directly below my chair to swallow me up and an irresistible pull I can't ignore.

Damian looks like he's wearing boxers. Dick does as well. No way would they be able to wear boxers under their costumes.

Is Babs going to get involved here? I mean there's a computer, a webcam and superheroes in their underwear. Really, isn't that her domain?

Nice that the Flamingo also vaguely resembles the glimpse of his older self which we saw in Batman #666 - especially in that panel where he headbutts Scarlet. The hooked nose and starting-to-recede hairline are both there.

Also, I just can't be scared of Flamingo. Yeah, I know he's all crazy and eating people's faces and stuff but I just can't get past the name. Everytime I see him I just think, "Oh noes, The Flamingo is coming!" and I start snickering.
