	Doom referring to himself in the first instead of the third person like that always seems a let down. "I am bored" is something anyone says "DOOM is bored" is something that should make you wet yourself, because if he is bored, he might do ANYTHING! (Reply to this) (Thread)

	It's pretty much the same thing, really. 'Name-Honorific' is the standard 3rd-person construction in Japanese, so translated into English, 'Name-chan' would be equivalent to 'Name'. Especially in the case of a little girl, who'll be 'Name-chan' in almost all circumstances. Well, it's a bit more complicated than all that, but for simplicity's sake. (Reply to this) (Parent)
