What's better than Peter Parker in bondage?
If you are still following the What If' like reimagining kind of stories in Marvel, then you know what's coming. Newsarama has wordless art for Clone Saga #3 (the reimagining).

Like the blue Spidey clone outfits. Better than seeing hundreds of Spiderman outfits.

I'm not sure what's going on here but, judging by Peter's eyes, the key to escaping is Ben Reilly's crotch.

"Dude, is your spider-sense tingling?"

"Look, I hooked up with Emma Frost a few years back and I have some real pleasant memories of that time. That's all it is!"

What crotch? It appears to go from abs to nothing.

Actually, what surprises me is that Peter's looking for the answer in Ben's pants, not Kaine. Seriously.

Damn. After a great first issue we have the army of spider-clones and the genetically reengineered Jackal. Couldn't he just have a costume again? As long as he doesn't start making those godawful puns again...

If you have to ask ME that question, you haven't been paying attention! :D

Have to say though, that's some nice manacling right there

I don't normally follow Spiderman, but I am going to read the crap out of this. They answered a ton of questions (unofficially) with What if: Disassembled, so I have high hopes for this one.

I like that there's a little rack of costumes in the background, otherwise I'd wonder where they came from. Actually, I do wonder where they came from. I suppose the marvel universe must be home to some sort of no-questions-asked textile business, for henchmen and the like.

So is this a remake or like a forgotten sequel, like the story of the Blue Marvel?

This is "What if they had used the original plot instead of streaching it out into an endless nightmare."

So basically, it's a "director's cut," right? I am not so sure of meaning of some DVD editions, in the end it just makes people buy them.

Was there an original plot? According to articles I've read, alot of editors threw crap against a wall and hoped it stuck.

Yeah, this. I think by "original plot" people mean the original plan... a much shorter story, without the constant back and forth about who was the real deal. The specifics (who would be behind it, etc) always varied.

Aparently thier was but as the storyline was one of the few things that were selling well they streached it out and plot became a lost dream until now.

Peter Parker in bondage with no pants. Preferably with a rear view.

I did a double take when looking at the blue spidey clone between the Scarlet Spider and the black overcoat figure (Miles Warren?). It almost seems as if he's drawn with his privates hanging out of the costume. I couldn't believe that this could have actually happened and spent some time figuring it out.

It's the knee and calf of another spidey clone that make it look like that!
