I was tempted to skip this, because I usually avoid the whole 'expanded universe' thing like a plague, but I find myself pleasantly surprised. While I haven't seen the prequel movies, and therefore can't really comment accurately on Anakin Skywalker's role in things, I'm sick of him replacing his son as the de facto hero of the Star Wars universe. He's DARTH VADER, dammit - or he will be in a few years. He's one of the most iconic villains in all cinema - I'm tired of his goodie-two-shoes side being overemphasized so much. This is the guy who strangled someone with his mind over a snotty comment. This is the guy to whom Stormtroopers defer to and stand aside for, the leader for whom disobedience means death, the man whose BREATHING ALONE is one of the more menacing and iconic sound effects around. Let him be a bad guy. Oh, and I really want to learn how to play 'Firepath' now. It looks like a lot more fun that chess.
