I love that cover so much. Those guys are members of a police team dedicated to fighting vampires. That's beautiful.

The rest of this plot-thread is picked up later, but I can't find it right now..

DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA! And tragedy. There's more of this later too, which I can find if anyone's interested.

This is more of a Dracula-study. He seduces and turns a ballet dancer, who doesn't realise she's died and become a vampire; all she cares about is dance. But Dracula is all, "no bride of mine is gonna be having no career!" and comes to fetch her. She's not into it.

I have heard about the movie and read the Wiki summary, I almost exploded from righteous anger.

Aesthetically speaking, I prefer Dracula with long hair rather than the short one Marvel gave him. As for his attitude, why not? I like him creeping people out just for the heck of it.

Righteous anger hi-five!

Oh, I like the creeping-for-the-heck too. I guess the difference between Stoker's novel and ToD is the perspective of the storyteller. Marvel's version is about Dracula, Stoker's is about the effects Dracula has on other people and society. Which is awesome, don't get me wrong, but in terms of character favouritism it makes it harder for me to go with novel-version Vlad.

Well, we pretty much started out from different ends didn't we? I started out from Hellsing and then to the novel and you started with ToD and then to the novel. It helped me with the fact that Dracula's appearance in Hellsing was closer to the novel sans the beard and mono-brow along with the freaky-looking hands.
