The original one was more comfortable and practical than Wonder Woman's costume. By a lot. If that's an impractical fetish uniform... well, okay, it is, but hell, I'll take it. At least it looked like it had been designed by someone who had, at some point in their life, seen a woman. This one looks like it was designed by someone who had, at some point in their life, briefly glimpsed a collectible statuette of a woman.
Also- I'm really getting curious- could someone tell me what it is about the original Star Sapphire costume that makes people compare it to a stewardess's? I think I'm too young for stewardesses- they were 'flight attendants' well before I was old enough to be paying attention on planes- my mental picture is vague and has something to do with mini-dresses and little hats, neither of which are present on Star Sapphire. So what's the stewardess connection? I don't think it's the leotard, or the pink-and-white color scheme, and it's probably not the enormous mask- is it the collar? Or the go-go boots? Or both together?
