Hi, first-time poster in a photo comm Hi, I'm an artistic photographer who mostly does abstract/lightplay and nature or urban photography. I don't have a degree or anything, but I have some experience. I'm posting some of the photos I have already uploaded under the cut, they're all lightplay. Okay, I'll go first! Hello! I thought I'd kick things off and I'm hoping to see you guys post lots of pictures here soon! For those of you who don't know, I used to work as a newspaper photographer. I also shot weddings for a little while. My style is fairly documentary. I have a few basic Photoshop skills, but I don't tend to do much to my pictures after they've been taken. I usually frame in the camera and don't crop my pictures after they've been taken. When I shoot for fun these days it's usually travel pictures, a few still lifes and the odd portrait, so that's the kind of stuff I'll be posting here. ( Kiddie pic under here ) |
