JACK HARKNESS + IANTO JONES

The warehouse where Torchwood had been operating was … spartan. And even that was stretching it a bit. There were few luxuries or comforts of home and tempers were beginning to run high. They hadn't faced a threat quite like the 456 before. Not to mention, subsisting off of tinned beans would get old and their resources were stretched to say the least. Ianto had been rummaging through their stockpile when he saw the gold coin and picked it up….
What he hadn't expected was to wake up in a soft bed and have a hologram playing. This certainly wasn't Cardiff. He'd thought he'd show the coin to the Jack, see if he knew where it came from. The man had an extensive knowledge of things from across the universe. But waking up here… It felt like the Doctor was involved. Either that or the Rift itself. Ianto listened to the hologram, interrupting with questions to get more information.
Ianto rolled out of bed, heading to the closet and relaxing when he realized his suit was there. It was a small but reassuring detail. The suit was, after all, a bit like a protective armor and he pulled it own, laying it out on the bed. First on the agenda was a shower and after that, he set about touching up the suit with an iron. After all, he wouldn't go out in a wrinkled suit. If this really was Atlantis, there was much to see and it was always better to make a good first impression. He made sure his pocket watch was safely in his pocket and straightened the pocket square before turning his attention to the tablet again.
Scrolling through the tablet's information, he committed what he could to memory, knowing he'd be referencing the directory and information a lot in the days to come. He'd been planning to get a drink, but when he'd seen Jack's post, he'd re-assessed his priorities. First Jack, then food. Making his way to tower one, he stopped in front of Jack's door to straighten his tie and waistcoat and take a nervous breath before knocking on the door.
"Jack?"
Today had not been the weirdest day of Jack’s life but it was certainly up there. The whole thing with the daleks (and another death that Ianto would probably want to know about), meeting the Doctor again, Rose, Donna, Sarah-Jane, everything. Then dragging the Earth back home and… going home. He’d left Mickey and Martha with a promise to call them and headed for the train station. He would have hired a car but he was tired and the train would give him an opportunity to sleep for a bit. E’d been at the stations when he’d found the coin and then he found himself here.
He wasn’t objecting to being here. The bed was nice, the room was… bland but nice and the view was pretty good. A war against people wanting to steal Creativity was a good cause too. The only thing he’d been missing was Ianto and, well, that wasn’t a problem anymore. Even Rose and the Doctor were here and despite having left them just a short time ago, he was delighted. His three favourite people all in one place. As strange as all of this was, he couldn’t deny that some of it was damn good.
When the knock on the door came, he bounded over and opened it before pulling Ianto into a hug. “Ianto,” he said with relief. He knew he’d left them in a bit of a tight spot but the Hub had been on lockdown so he;d hadn’t been too worried. Except that he was worried. He worried about them all the time since Owen and Tosh had died. He pulled back just enough to cradle Ianto’s face in his hands. “Are you okay?”
Ianto wrapped his arms around Jack, burying his face in the familiar blue wool coat. "Jack…" he breathed out. It hadn't been that long since he'd seen Jack but still, there was something about Jack that was still home. He leaned his face into Jack's hand and closed his eyes. "I'm fine… hungry for something that doesn't come out of tin can, but okay. It hasn't been that long, Jack. We were just in the warehouse..."
“Well, I can guarantee I don’t come out of a tin can,” Jack said with a cheeky grin before the rest of what Ianto had said sunk in. He immediately frowned as the disconnect from what he remembered raised its head. “Wait a minute… warehouse? Eating out of tin cans? Okay. When precisely are you from?”
A sudden dart of horror went through him. Was Ianto from the Year That Never Was? He knew things had gotten pretty grim on Earth during that time. But… nobody but those who had been on the Valiant remembered that. It’s possible Ianto could have come from… now the paradoxes were making his head hurt.
“I was just on my way back to Cardiff after the thing with the daleks,” he said. “The… thing Harriet Jones contacted us about.”
Ianto pulled back to study Jack. "2009. After John blew up Torchwood… after we lost Owen and Tosh…. We were trying to stop the 456…"
Ianto watched Jack's face closely, trying to figure things out. If Jack was from earlier… if this was the Doctor's fault…. Well, Ianto would be speaking to the doctor. But if Jack was from earlier… then, they hadn't gone on a proper date. Ianto sucked his lip between his teeth.
“Yeah, 2009, but early in the year, in May…” Jack trailed off. He sighed and grimaced. “Okay, so time displacement as well as dimensional travel. Fun.”
He knew that meant they were at different places in their relationship too but he was less worried about that. The ease with which Ianto had accepted his embrace meant that he hadn’t messed anything up.
He brushed his thumbs along Ianto’s cheeks. “Okay. We’re both here so we can sort this out. And the Doctor and Rose are here so that’s… probably an indicator that there’s about to be trouble and we’ll have to start running soon but still…”
"At least John's not here yet," Ianto muttered under his breath. He had no desire to see the other man anytime soon. For the moment, he was going to to enjoy the fact that he had Jack here. Closing the distance between them, he kissed Jack soundly. "Are you planning to keep me here all day or did they give you a bed?"
Ianto considered something else Jack had said and raised an eyebrow at Jack. "Are we sure this isn't all the Doctor's fault in the first place?"
Jack heard that little mutter and he smiled wryly. He didn’t blame Ianto for his dislike of John but there was too much history there and Jack had been too close to being exactly like John for him to hate the man. He’d have said something but then Ianto was kissing him and that was far more important than talking about John. There was a corner of his mind that was a little surprised - but pleased. Ianto had been more willing to take the lead recently but it wasn’t as common as Jack would have liked but this… whatever happens in the future, he was pretty sure he was going to like at least some of it.
“I have a bed,” he said with a grin as he started walking them towards his room without letting Ianto go. “Nice bed too. Definitely a step up from my bed at the Hub.” He then chuckled. “Nah, the Doctor just got here himself. I suppose it could be one of his other selves but this one seems blameless. For this anyway.”
"There was nothing wrong with your bed at the hub, sir," Ianto said as he followed Jack into his room, which looked similar enough to his own. It was almost like some weird hotel. "Perhaps it's a bit narrow for two people, especially when you steal the covers, but it had its…. benefits.."
Ianto dragged the last word out, cheeks flushing slightly. Despite dating Jack, he still blushed more easily than he'd like. "I do have the stopwatch…"
Jack’s laugh was low and very dirty. “And very nice benefits they are too.” He adored Ianto’s blush and part of him hoped he never got so jaded that it stopped. “The stopwatch, eh? You get all the fun toys. All I brought with me was what I had on.”
He arched an eyebrow and his grin widened. “Speaking of that… shall we see how fast I can get out of all of this? Or how slowly I can go before my resolve snaps?”
"It’s not my fault you didn’t come prepared, sir,” Ianto countered cheekily, tongue licking his lips as he gave Jack a bit of a look. He wondered if Jack's vortex manipulator would work here but that might be a question for later.
For the moment, Ianto pulled the pocket watch out and raised an eyebrow as it set the stopwatch going. “Slowly, Captain. Let’s see how long you can last.”
Jack laughed. Somehow he’d known Ianto might go for the slow option. Jack liked to get naked fast. The sex might be fast or slow or anywhere in between but he always liked the get naked early on. It was more fun that way but he also couldn’t deny that there was a lot of sun to be had in the slow reveal. He also knew Ianto had a definite thing for his coat so instead of taking it off, he went for the buttons on his shirt.
“I’ll have a word to the small gold coin next time,” he said as he slowly unbuttoned his shirt. “Tell it to dash me home first so I can pick up a few things before it takes me off to another dimension.”
Ianto glanced between the watch and Jack, keeping his eyes focused on the time traveler. It hadn't been long since he'd seen him, but knowing it had been longer for Jack, he wanted to do this his way. He wanted to be in control. (Well, for as much as one could be in control in an alternate universe.) “You think you can boss around a magical golden coin?” Ianto asked, eyebrow arching in question yet knowing if anyone could charm a magical coin, it would be Jack. "I'm not sure that's how this works. I'm not sure how any of this works except I'm pretty sure the doctor's to blame, despite what the hologram said."
Jack grinned as he finished unbuttoning his shirt and pulled the ends out of his trousers. He hadn’t been gone that long but between dying again and the odd uncertainty between them - or maybe there wasn’t, he wasn’t sure, he just knew what he wanted, just not how to get it… it had been a while - it seemed like it had been a while since they’d played any games like this. Mind you, he wasn’t sure that was correct from Ianto’s point of view and he really should ask more questions about that but… he was busy right now.
“I’m sure if I asked really nicely the coin might oblige,” he said as he undid his belt and pulled it slowly from the loops of his trousers. “And if the Doctor were involved, we wouldn’t be here right now, we’d be running and most likely screaming.” His eyes lit up with mischief. “And not the fun kind of screaming.”
Despite the fact that they were alone and in a bedroom, Ianto's cheeks flushed pink. "Jack, you could convince a scotsman to sell you all the whiskey in scotland," he said shaking his head. "That wouldn't be playing fair.."
“I should remember that the next time I have to go up to Glasgow for Torchwood Two,” Jack said as he dropped the belt onto the floor. He debated what to remove next and decided that it was going to be too complicated with the coat on. So it slowly slid it off and tossed it over to Ianto. “Here, keep that safe for me.”
Ianto caught the coat and out of instinct, brought it up to his face, inhaling the scent of the wool mixed with Jack like he had so many times when Jack had been gone. The coat was home, so essentially Jack that it reminded Ianto of everything he wanted and everything that kept him safe. "I always do," he said with a quick smirk. He glanced down at the watch. "You're already at two minutes, sir, that might be a new record," he teased.
Jack saw Ianto’s action and smiled softly but didn’t say anything. He knew his pheromones generally made him - and therefore his clothes - smell nice but Ianto’s action seemed to be about a little bit more than just that. He liked it in a way he didn’t really want to examine too much and he certainly didn’t want Ianto to stop. “I don’t know about you,” he said with a grin as he slid his braces off his shoulders and let them hang down. He pulled off his button-down shirt as he continued, “but it’s been a hell of a day. I think we deserve some fun.” He winked. “And I know you like watching me do this.”
The flush deepened on Iantos cheeks because Jack was right. He did like watching Jack strip. Hell, there were many things he liked watching Jack do. “If you can make it past five minutes without cheating, Jack, there might be a reward in it for you…”
Jack arched an eyebrow and licked his lips. “Oh, I like the sound of that.” He let his button-down drop to the floor then held up one finger. “Wait a moment.” He deliberately turned around and bent over so that he could undo the laces of his boots. He waggled his arse a little, inviting Ianto to touch, wondering if he could break Ianto’s admittedly impressive self-control.
“I’m fairly certain wagging your arse in my face might constitute cheating,”Ianto teased, smirk plastered on his face. “Besides, I see that arse every day when you bend over the table trying to get me to look. You’re not exactly subtle, sir.”
Of course, Ianto was not exactly immune to the powers of Jacks arse. But he was accustomed to it which meant he was able to resist it. For now. Besides, it was fun to watch Jack squirm.
“Cheating is such a harsh word,” Jack said, flashing a grin over his shoulder as he removed his boots and started pulling off his socks. “I prefer to use the term thinking outside the box. And you take advantage of me bending over the table often enough that I think you protest too much.” He turned around now in his bare feet and slowly stretched his arms up in the air.
"And what word would you use to describe ignoring the rules to your advantage?” Ianto asked. Of course, it was tempting to reach out and touch Jacks ass, but he kept his hand at his side. His eyes appraised jack, running up and down over him. “You look skinnier,” he remarked, not sure if that was actually possible.
Jack paused and pretended to think. “Strategic,” he said as he let his arms drop. He looked down at himself at Ianto’s comment and shrugged. “I must have put on a bit of weight in the time between when I was brought here and when you were.” He knew he’d lost weight during the Year That Never Was and had struggled a bit to put it back on. Tish had done her best to make sure he ate as regularly as she could manage it but… he’d regularly gone hungry and the Master had entertained himself by watching him starve to death a couple of time. When he’d gotten back, he’d tried to hide the fact that it had taken several weeks to get his eating habits back to some semblance of normality and while he wasn’t sure he’d succeeded very well, the others had at least not questioned him about it. “Strange that, when you think about it.”
"Still cheating," he insisted. Ianto's lip caught between his teeth as he fought the urge to reach out and touch Jack, to determine if he was skinnier or not. "Could just be an optical illusion. Further investigation may be required, Sir…"
“Observations, eh?” Jack said as he pulled the hem of his t-shirt out of his trousers. “And will this observation be strictly observing or will there be some sort of hands on component to it.” He pulled his shirt off and raised an eyebrow. “Because I think if you’re trying to assess how thin I may or may not be, there might be some hands on work required.”
Ianto swallowed hard. It really was unfair how easily Jack could manipulate a situation like this to get the upper hand. "There may be some hands on investigation. I would have to be thorough, you understand…"
Ianto managed to tear his eyes away from Jack. "Four minutes and thirty seven seconds sir…"
“I approve of thorough investigations,” Jack said. He undid his fly and then left his trousers undone as he grinned at Ianto in a rather cocksure sort of way. “How else are you supposed to get a proper answer.”
He raised an eyebrow. “Hmm, is that a new record or should I drag this out a little longer?”
“Considering you rarely last longer than two minutes, sir, it qualifies as a new record..” Ianto said, reaching out a hand for jack. “Besides, I worry you might spontaneously combust if I ask you to keep dragging it out, cariad.. ”
Jack’s grin turned into an appreciative and even lascivious smile. “Mmm, love those Welsh vowels.” He took hold of Ianto’s hand and stepped in close. “So what’s my reward for lasting so long?”
Ianto's cheeks flushed pink at Jack's words. "Who said anything about a reward? I thought you were just trying to beat your own record." He set Jack's Coat™ to the side and pulled Jack onto the bed with him. "I suppose that depends on what you want, Sir…"
Jack pretended to pout at the idea of no reward but let himself be pulled onto the bed without complaint. He wrapped an arm around Ianto’s waist and pulled him close, his smile softening. “I want you, Ianto. Just you. However you’ll have me.” He raised an eyebrow. “You do seem to be a bit overdressed though.”
The words took Ianto a bit by surprise. He wasn’t sure exactly what Jack was saying - was it just the heat of the moment? He brushed his lips against Jacks in a tender kiss. “I thought you liked me in a suit..” he teased, hand caressing Jacks face and trying to figure out what was going on in his head.
Jack sighed into the kiss. After what he’d just come back from, it was bliss. He hated daleks and he hated dying but at least it tended to put things in perspective. “I do like you in a suit,” he said, kissing Ianto again. “I like you out of a suit just as much.”
Ianto let out a soft moan into the kiss. "Cariad…" His hands roamed over Jack's sides, relearning the other man's body, checking to see if he was skinnier. "Would you like to unwrap your present?"
Jack closed his eyes and arched into Ianto’s touch before opening them again and giving his lover a cheerful leer. “I thought you’d never ask.” He rolled them so that Ianto was underneath him and then sat up to begin peeling Ianto out of that delectable suit.

Much later, Jack curled up around Ianto and smiled. It was a happy, sated smile with no artifice to it. He drew in a deep breath and let it out slowly, letting himself relax. He was content to drift for the moment but then something Ianto had said earlier came back to him and he felt a sense of dread. The 456 brought back some bad memories, not just of what happened but of what he’d been like back then, how little he’d cared. But if they were back after they’d promised to leave forever…
He grimaced and gave himself a tiny shake. This was the last thing he should be thinking about right now. Instead he propped his chin up on Ianto’s chest and smiled. “I feel like all my Christmases have come at once,” he joked. “You, the Doctor, Rose… all my favourite people in one place.”
“Well, obviously you’ve been a very good boy, Captain,” Ianto purred softly, the welsh accent heavier in the post sex haze as he ran his fingers through Jacks hair. “But you already opened your presents…”
Ianto tilted jacks chin up. “How are you, Jack? Really?”
Jack shivered at the sound of Ianto’s voice and let his fingers trail over Ianto’s chest. “What can I say? I’m greedy,” he teased. “And where did you learn those tricks? They’re new.”
He sobered a little at Ianto’s question though his smile didn’t entirely fade. “From my perspective? It’s been a very, very long day involving daleks and I hate daleks.” Daleks were one of the few things to really strike fear into him. Hold over from his first death, he knew, but that didn’t make it any better. He immediately tried to deflect attention from that. “On the up side, I got to see Martha again. And Rose and the Doctor. And Mickey the idiot. And met Rose’s mother and Sarah-Jane. So… swings and roundabouts, as they say.”
“I did some research for our date. Wanted to impress you,” Ianto admitted with a blush. “I like Martha. Hopefully she’ll show up here.”
Ianto caressed Jacks face. “How many times, Jack? With the Daleks?” It was his thing. He always wanted to know when jack had died.
“Well, consider me impressed,” Jack said, leaning up to press a quick kiss to Ianto’s lips. “I hope she shows up too.”
He sighed at Ianto’s question but he still answered it. He didn’t really understand Ianto’s need to know how many times he died. He felt it was a bit morbid but Ianto seemed to need it for some reason. “Just the once. We’d been captured and it was an effective way to escape. Chucked me in the garbage disposal and then I met up with Jackie and Mickey.”
“Trying to channel Star Wars were you?” Ianto asked, raising an eyebrow at jack. His cheeks remained crimson from the compliment though.
“Not that kind of garbage disposal,” Jack said with a laugh. “Daleks are apparently more the burn your garbage types than crush it amid watery, creature hiding residue.” He pretended to look indignant. “They almost burned my coat!”
He cocked an eyebrow. “Was everything okay in the Hub?”
Ianto reached over and stroked the coat fondly. He was extremely fond of the coat. “Poor coat… it’s a good thing we had spares in Cardiff..”
Ianto swallowed hard and turned his head to the side. “The hub was destroyedck…”, Jack…"
Jack looked amused. “You know, sometimes I think you like that coat more than me.”
He frowned then and raised himself on one elbow. “Destroyed? What? How did the daleks find the place?” He paused. “Wait… is this one of these temporal displacement things?”
Ianto flushed, catching his lip between his teeth again. "It's not that, it's just… when you're… away or when we're waiting for you to come back, the coat is all I have. It's an extension of you, Jack."
Ianto sighed heavily and closed his eyes as he ran his fingers through Jack's hair. "No… after you went off… I mean, the daleks found us, but Tosh saved us… timelock on the hub.."
He swallowed hard. "It was the government that destroyed the Hub. They wanted to go along with the 456… and we refused. So they blew up the hub… or rather, they put a bomb inside you… and blew you up.."
Jack grinned and kissed Ianto again. “I was just teasing.”
The smile fell off his face at Ianto’s explanation. “Shit. They found you?” Guilt washed over him. “I should never have left you guys there.” He shuddered at how close he’d come to losing them. “But Tosh’s…” He smiled sadly. “Saving us even now.”
He slumped down on the bed at the confirmation of the 456 and even the news about the bomb couldn’t really shake the guilt he felt. “The 456,” he said, shaking his head. “They were supposed to leave us alone forever. That was…” He broke off and looked at Ianto. “You know I’ll come back from even that, right? As long as a bit of me is left, I’ll come back.”
"Tosh is amazing," Ianto said with a sad smile. "I miss her." She'd been one of his favourite's at Torchwood. Ianto turned on his side to face Jack, placing a hand on his chest over Jack's heart. "I know… that's.. You dealt with the 456 before?"
Jack covered Ianto’s hand with his and grimaced. “Yeah, back in 1965. They… offered us an anti-virus for a mutated strain of Indonesian influenza that would have killed millions.” He was silent for a moment. “They also said they wouldn’t return to Earth.” He snorted and said bitterly, “Guess that was a lie.”
"We got you back though… after you regenerated from the bomb, they encased you in concrete. Stole a fork lift and threw you into a quarry to get you out…" Ianto explained with a bit of a smirk. "Oh, and my sister and her family know about us…"
Jack rolled his eyes. “Ugh. Sounds fun. I’m not looking forward to that happening.” He stared at Ianto in surprise. “They know? I mean, there’s an us…” He sighed. “I used to be so good at this, you know. So we… made this a bit more official then? Us?”
Ianto flushed for the umpteenth time today. "Sort of. When you came back from the Doctor… we went on an actual date… and it ended up not being a one time thing…." He decided to leave out the fact that his family had seen them out in public and that his wanker brother in law had called him a gay boy who enjoyed taking it up arse. There were some things Jack didn't need to know.
Jack just simply beamed. “That’s… that’s great! That’s what I wanted.” He cradled Ianto’s face with one hand and kissed him… rather thoroughly. “That’s why I came back. You’re why I came back.” After the way he’d run off after the Doctor, he’d felt… not tentative but more like he needed to do things right with Ianto. Yes, he’d had a good reason for chasing after the Doctor but he’d done things poorly in not leaving some sort of note and having it look like he’d just abandoned them.
When the kiss ended, Ianto looked thoroughly debauched. Then again, Jack had that effect on him. "Cariad.. are you sure… I.. " He hadn't wanted to let himself hope that this earlier Jack would want that. He'd been prepared for having however much of Jack he could have. "You know I'd never ask you to settle down… I know…. How you are… and with the Doctor and Rose here... " Ianto knew he couldn't exactly compete with the Doctor.
Jack drew Ianto into an embrace and made a mental note to kick himself at some point. He knew 21st century sensibilities weren’t the same as 51st century ones and he should have used his words a bit more. “Yes,” he said firmly. “I… damn it. You don’t even remember because it never actually happened and it’s a long story but the upshot is yes, I want this.” He smiled wryly. “And I can do monogamy if it’s important. I have done in the past. It’s no hardship for me.”
He sighed and caressed Ianto’s cheek. “I do love the Doctor and Rose, I’ll admit that. But it’s different. They’re… too caught up in each other. Have been since the day I met them, though they were both playing denial. Idiots.” He chuckled then sobered. “There’s no room there for me and… while in the past, I wished there was, now… I have you. I love you, Ianto. I want to be with you for as long as you’ll have me. I had a whole year to think about this so it’s not a rushed decision. It’s something I know I want. I’ve kind of been trying to maneuver us towards this for a while now but I wanted to make sure you knew I was serious. That you weren’t just a casual fling.”
Ianto studied Jack. These were the words he wanted to hear, words he'd dreamt of hearing. "Jack…. What are you saying, exactly?" Because it almost sounded like a proposal and that was something they hadn't discussed yet. "Flirting is like breathing for you Jack, and that's fine… and I can accept if there's other people for you, but for me, it's just you… no one else. And it doesn't matter what my sister or her arse of a husband say."
Jack hated how… defeated Ianto seemed about their relationship and what’s more he hated how he might have contributed to that. “Ianto, sweetheart, I don’t need to have sex with other people to be fulfilled. You make me happy. Just you. I mean, I’ll probably always flirt but you… you are more than enough for me. You’re who I want. You’re not second best or a… a stop gap or anything else.”
He drew in a breath and let it out again. “I spent a year being tortured and killed over and over and over again. And you know what got me through? You. Thinking of you and your impeccable suits and your cheeky ‘sir’ and how much I wanted to see you again and just… breathe you in. And I know I hurt you when I ran off after the Doctor after kissing you and I’m sorry. I never meant to make you think you weren’t important to me.”
Ianto kissed Jack soundly, wrapping his arms around the other band and attempting to stop him from babbling. "Jack… I don't think that… I just don't want you to change for me."
"You and those suits.." Ianto said with a smile, shaking his head before placing his hand over Jack's heart. "Cariad, are you trying to propose?"
Jack leaned into the kiss and hummed his approval. He then laughed softly. “I wouldn’t be changing, sweetheart. I promise. The monogamy and commitment thing is just as much a part of me as all the rest of it. It’s just… I save that for the right person.”
He was a little startled by Ianto’s question but he didn’t hesitate to answer. “I… I’ll admit it was one of the things I thought about during that year.” He flashed a quick grin. “Even had a few daydreams, though I was probably thinking more about the wedding night than the actual ceremony.” He sobered again. “I could think of nothing I’d like to do more than marry you but… only if you’re sure you want me.”
The fact that Jack seemed to consider Ianto the right person was enough to make Ianto’s heart swell. His comment had been half joking but he knew the captain well enough to know this wasn’t a joke. “Jack, there is no one and nothing I want more in the world than you. Nothin I want more in the universe than you.”
He kissed Jack soundly. “I have never been as sure about anything than I am about this. I want to spend all my days with you, Jack Harkness.”
Jack grinned despite the slightly nervous lurch his heart gave. He hadn’t done this for a while and after the last time, he’d sworn he would do it again. It was certainly going to hurt when he inevitably outlived Ianto but until that day, he was going to enjoy every moment he had with him. “Well then” he said as he shifted on the bed. “I suppose I should do at least part of this traditionally… Ianto Jones, would you do me the honour of being my husband?”
“It would be my honour and pleasure, cariad,” Ianto said, wrapping an arm around Jacks neck and pulling him close for a deep kiss. “Though if you want to be traditional, perhaps I should make you get down on your knees…” Ianto teased with a wicked smirk.
Jack laughed. He wanted to get Ianto a ring and he’d have to tell Rose and the Doctor - he was sure they’d be thrilled - but for right now, he had different plans. He began to slither his way down Ianto’s body as he returned that smirk. “Hey, if you want me on my knees for you, you only have to ask.”
Ianto flushed. “Jack….” he purred softly, tangling his fingers in Jack’s hair. “Does your mind ever not go to a dirty place?”
Jack raised his head and grinned at Ianto. “Would you really want it to go anywhere else?”
“I don’t need you down on one knee or a ring or anything traditional. You are the furthest thing from traditional, aside from your sartorial tastes..” Ianto tugged Jack up for a kiss. “And I wouldn’t have it any other way..”
“Hey,” Jack said after they broke from the kiss. “I’ll have you know I’m a pretty traditional sort of 51st century guy.” He grinned wickedly. “How about a engagement blowjob then? That’s nontraditional and a lot of fun.”
“Not like I have many other 51st century guys to compare you too,” Ianto said with an arch of his eyebrow. “Sut alla i ddweud na?” (how can I say no?)
“I know,” Jack said with a cheeky grin then he shivered and surged up to kiss Ianto at the sudden burst of Welsh. “Love those Welsh vowels,” he breathed before he began to lay a line of kisses down Ianto’s throat.
”Rwyf wrth fy modd chi..” (I love you so much) Ianto purred against Jack. “Rwyf am wario am byth gyda chi. (I want to spend forever with you)”
“Now you’re just trying to drive me crazy,” Jack said as he continued his downward journey and then his mouth was far too busy for talking.
