So I am anixously waiting to see more people post in ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) savageland. So here's the deal: if you make a post or reply to an open thread comment here and I will give you an mp3 approriate song for your character or the situation they're in.

So there's the relationships page going on for who your character knows but who do you want to see in the game? If you know people who are interested in the game, if people reply maybe you can link them here for inspiration?
Edit: Even if someone has mentioned the character you want to see in the game, feel free to repeat it. If it looks like there is high demand for specific characters that may help people figure out who to pick.

Can I just say I'm just a little over excited for this game?
Most of you already know Sel from X-Displaced. She is the younger not quite yet evil version of her 616 cannon counter part. Valkyrie is from a game that is based on and very similar to Ultimates cannon. Jubilee is from an 80s power swap game, despite having wings and a bit more personality she's closer to cannon in background than my other characters in the game.

Our game is opening April 26 GMT. That's this coming Saturday! We thought of devoting this week for scenario and group dynamics building (thus leading to plots, we hope!). To do these....
1) Please head over to the Relationships page and check out what everyone has written. This alone can be a house of ideas of who to talk to and share a storyline with :D
2) Who holds the spheres of power in the Savage Land? Technically that's mod-controlled Brainchild and Zaladane who will be played by Nels. Brainchild has the upper hand on technology while Zaladane has the advantage of magic. Now we know very well that magic and technology don't get along. We'll set the Ka-zar idea aside until such time we can have an X-Men crew.
3) How did your characters get to Savage Land? Brainchild is enlisting the help of certain people who will help him acquire them. One such person is Madelyne Pryor, who I play (but she won't be doing all the work). Comment your characters' last whereabouts here.
4) Our first plot arc revolves around Arrival. Not only will your characters be spirited away, they will also be injected a chip that will render them...depowered. Good news for the man-eating species. It's up to them to figure a way out of these power dampening chips, without getting killed.
5) We would also like to formally open the OOC board for introductions posting. Speak and be heard!
Lastly, thank you for joining us (and pimping the game for us :D). We're very excited to embark in our crazy adventures. We hope everyone will have a blast! Go and plot forth!

In attempts of a more interesting start, let's try something out shall we?
1) We're opening the third character option. It looks like everyone can handle it. :D
2) We're also opening applications to form a group of Marvel/X-Men characters who have NOT been in a previous game. Yep, it means they will be new characters. There's a condition. They have to have been in the Savage Land at least once in the canon 616-verse. This means they would have experienced and survived Savage Land and most importantly, they would have met Ka-Zar and Ka-Zar would have known them. This group will consist of 6-8 new characters who will be summoned (kidnapped is fine too!) to help Ka-Zar and friends defeat the despotic Brainchild who has apparently got his own army to conquer Savage Land. These characters are specially exempted of rule no. 2 and 4. Everyone else have to follow.
We should be able to send invites to all approved characters, if we missed anyone kindly give us a holler. Thank you and we hope to launch very soon! Tell your friends! Tell everyone!
