[The Call that resounds from the Arena is loud, echoing to every part of Sabra. A regal crescendo of notes and then anticipatory silence. Should you follow it today, the Arena is that strange darkened landscape again...

Simple darkness fills your vision, no delineation between up and down, walls or even the floor. You can only see the throne in the far off distance, and three pathways each covered with a lush carpet: gold, orange, and lavender. One bears the sigil of the hunter, club upraised and a string of jewels shining in his belt. The second has several foxes embroidered cunningly into the cloth, their silhouettes nearly invisible against the background. Finally, a great peacock adorns the third, its many tailfeathers rising nearly the entire length of the path. Should you turn around, there is no exit yet, but there is a small table holing a punch bowl and several large party platters.

However, should you follow either of the pathways, the landscape begins to change...]

[Between one moment of attention and the next, the dessert plates are each filled by an enormous slice of cake, each apparently cut from a larger, unseen whole.

Hakuba's has thick slabs of golden vanilla cake alternate with layers of berries and a whole bunch of those fun little metallic beads that are actually edible. Chocolate flowers and little fondant detective hats adorn the sides. Meanwhile, Chika's seems to be made of some sort of delightfully orange sponge cake, oozing with some kind of thick custard filling. And Shizuo's isn't a slice at all; rather, he gets an artful array of cupcakes, each covered with stiff lavender icing and little puffs of whipped cream.

No matter what the form, they are all packed full of berry filling, waiting to restore the memories of the people who eat them.]
