Is there anyone here who has better veterinary skills than I do (which would not be difficult, let me assure you)? I found a young bitch a few days ago, trapped in an alley and her hind leg was badly injured. I think she caught it on a nail or something, but she won't even weight-bear on it so I think there's something beyond the deep cut. I cleaned her up as best I could, but the wound's infected and I'm really not sure what else to do for her beyond keeping it clean.
Any help or advice would be more than appreciated.
