[News: Hookerville]
[When a regularly scheduled payment defaults at the little brother's private school, some calls are made. It wasn't until Destiny missed a shift at the dinner that anybody seemed to get the local police involved. They do a wellness check on the residence in the neighborhood commonly referred to as Clary House, but it doesn't seem as though Destiny had been staying there for some time.
They move on to search her trailer in Hookerville. Her car is parked outside, and her phone is on her bed, attached to its charger, but Destiny is nowhere to be found. It's as if she's vanished into thin air. There's a circle of salt on the bedroom floor, a multitude of candles that burned through their wax, and the ashy remnants of some seriously dark magic gone wrong.
But the cops aren't going to know enough to ask questions about it, and they don't look too hard for girls like Destiny anyway. They question a few people around town who knew her. The pets in the trailer go to a shelter and the little brother goes into temporary foster care when the case becomes just another missing persons folder buried in just another desk drawer.]
