Crownless again shall be the King. [Attn, Xemnas and Kuja]

Marluxia led Kuja into the pristine white, round room. Nearly all of the high, imposing chairs stood empty, save for one. Craning his neck, he looked up at Xemnas, silently disliking the unequal position it put him in. Soon, he wouldn't have to look up at this man any more. Soon.

Stepping aside, he bowed a little, gesturing towards Kuja, his words directed at Xemnas up on high. "I present to you Kuja, a new kindred spirit."

Crawling towards the sun [Attn: Kuja]

It had taken barely any effort to dump Roxas at the small village. Roxas hadn't seemed all the interested in checking out an 'old, dead tree' in his own words and when presented with the option to look through the nearly deserted village instead of coming with Marluxia to check out the Iifa tree, he had jumped at it.

Honestly, youngsters; their priorities were all screwed up.

With Zexion's map in hand, Marluxia made his way over to the edge of the tree, breathing in sharply in surprise. Zexion had told him that the tree was large, but it had been hard to imagine without the visual reminder. Tucking his map away, Marluxia stripped over his gloves, touching the long dead wood. He couldn't feel a spark of life in the tree, but perhaps if he travelled closer to its core, he could find something more interesting than dead samples.

Still, he really was going to have to rethink growing the tree in The World That Never Was. He was going to cull its growth a lot, lest the tree would take over the city. Not that that wasn't a much nicer look, but certain people would complain. Oh, if only he was superior already.

Angel's would fall {Atten: Marluxia & Namine}

Riku stepped out of the portal and he tried to see if there was any landmarks that could have helped him find the place again but all that was around was white hallways and the white large door before him now. Waiting until the Marluxia had opened the door, he moved past the other man to enter the overly spartan room, taking in the utter emptiness of it before walking over to girl seated in the chair.

"Namine?"

In the blood of the lamb. [Attn: Riku]

Marluxia opened the corridor of darkness just outside of the quarters that had been appointed to Riku. It was easy to find the boy. In these castle full of hollow beings, his heart shone like a beacon. It was a wonder really, that with all of these new pets running around, the heartless had not yet over-run the castle. Really, when he was superior, there'd be a few little changes to this.

Raising his hand, he knocked on the pristine white door, waiting for Riku to open it. Certainly, he could have portalled into his room, but giving the boy a sense of privacy and control would probably prove more beneficial. Certainly if he was to convince him that the elders were just using him, he'd have to be at least a little courteous. And who knew, a child like that could be very valuable to his plans.

And I won't forget to put roses on your grave [Attn: Namine]

Marluxia stopped at the door, reaching deep into the pocket of his coat for the key that would unlock Namine's room. It was little more than a cage, really; to keep their precious little bird contained. It wouldn't do if she could get out and harm herself or their plans. Namine had never really mastered travelling by using the dark corridors, so the simple, heavy lock on the door was enough to persuade her to stay put and not run off.

Unlocking the door, Marluxia pushed it open, smiling at Namine. She looked so fragile and frightened. It was a lovely look for her. "Ready, Namine?"

[Mission One] Traverse Town [Attn: Marluxia]

The side alley beside the town's accessory shop was admittedly poorly lit, but had anyone actually been in it they would have likely noticed the fact that the far end of it was growing increasingly darker by the second, the shadows seeming to slip from their normal places and behaviors to come alive and begin to race over the far wall in a thick circular moving mass which after having fully formed its intended shape, shortly birthed two silent, dark clad figures into the alley.

Closing the portal behind them, Zexion remained where he'd entered for a moment allowing certain senses to adjust to the abrupt new sounds and smells which came all crowding in begging for attention. Practice allowed quick dismissal of any which were unimportant and the cataloging of those which were possibly of both interest and use. For one he currently knew there was no one within hearing distance of them right now and two the town's population if he was to be any judge from its current state of activity among other things had been rather reduced since the last time they had observed the place.

"It would seem that this base of operations has been either abandoned or they have something going on which requires a rather considerable majority of their numbers to travel elsewhere.." Zexion observed quietly after walking from the alley's end to observe the square beyond it.
