Cuddle Fic :: Something Like This

Summary: Written as the beginning of a 'day in the life' one-shot, but when I heard about Cuddle Day 2011 I decided to use this opening part for the event.
They sleep in, as they always do on Sundays. Brian wakes first and watches Justin sleep. He’d never admit it, not even to Justin, but he does this every Sunday. It’s the only time he lets himself think that maybe Justin’s right. That maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to spend the rest of his life waking up this way.
He can’t even remember the last time he fucked a trick.
Brian lets himself brush the hair out of Justin’s eyes, leaning forward so they’re touching from head to toe. Brian Kinney doesn’t cuddle, but if he did, it might look something like this.
Minutes later, Brian feels Justin begin to awaken. He closes his eyes and pretends to be asleep, but doesn’t pull away. For one thing, it would probably give him away and for another, he likes to give Justin an olive branch sometimes. Little moments that help smooth out Brian’s admittedly rougher edges.
Brian feels Justin smile when he notices how entwined they are. Brian continues to pretend to be asleep even as he feels Justin slink down towards the foot of the bed, his mouth placing featherlight kisses down Brian’s body until he reaches his groin. Brian tenses, waiting for what comes next, but Justin just chuckles darkly. “Gotcha. You are so totally awake!”
Brian groans and looks down at Justin. “You’re an evil little twat.”
Justin gazes back up, his eyes dancing. “And you, Mr. Kinney, were cuddling!”
Brian rolls his eyes, lamenting the loss of his ritual morning blow job, but then he feels wet heat surround his cock and he remembers exactly why he puts up with Justin’s teasing.
