BRAINSTORM POST!
We've had a couple of these in the past, and I think they can be useful. So for anyone interested, use this post to come up with plot bunnies for any of the themes in the current challenge, and to brainstorm ideas.

I'm trying hard to remember all the plot bunnies I had for the old themes, but I'm having trouble!

Here's some things I remember..

In Cars - road trip fic!
In Cars - Daphne and Justin on the way to the prom.
In Cars - B/J car porn!
In Cars - subway cars
In Cars - limos

What If... - Justin got cancer instead of Brian.

Friends and Lovers - season 1/2 ensemble fic at Debbie's house.

	Dare - there needs to be a funny fic where Brian and Justin dare each other to do amusing/embarrasing things for a week, or something like that. (Reply to this) (Thread)

And did they ever do this? It sounds so canon, like the lighthearted subplot in some episode that was serious for other characters, when Justin/Brian were a little boring because their relationship was smooth sailing at that point :-D

And although I know they're less sexy, I could see Mel and Linds doing this too, at one of those magical stages where their relationship was reinvigorated and sorted.

I would love to try this one but it would probably take me about a year and remedial therapy of some kind to be able to figure out a plot :D

I'm in the arguably fortunate position of not having seen old fandom. Sigh. (I love innocent and enthusiastic beginnings, it's my favourite place to be.)

It must be sad for those of you who've not only put years of work in, but seen friends come and go, to feel far away from those old times. I know I feel like that in some other communities - sometimes the turnaround is only months.

FWIW I hope to be here for a long time, and be able to contribute to this family. I think there are other newbies who feel the same.

	It's strange, I don't neccesarily miss the old days, I LOVE IJ and the fandom here. I guess I miss fandom being bigger and all the participants/comments we used to get in the challenges. I guess it comes with the territory of a show going off air. But there's always newbies coming through. I'm so glad to see you all around here! (Reply to this) (Parent)
