Amnesty?
I've had an amazing number of requests for an amnesty for the "Small Things Made Large" challenge. I'm happy to run one, and I'm going to throw in a twist: authors can write full length fics for their own drabbles if they wish.

However, unless I get at least five firm commitments for amnesty fics, I'm not going to do this. So if you missed the deadline, or inspiration hit you after it passed, could you please comment here and let me know if you're in? If you are tentative, please let me know that, too.

Amnesty fics would be due April 3 at 11:59 PM California time.

This will not delay the announcement of the next challenge, by the way. I'll be announcing that on Wednesday when the authors of the current fics are revealed. :)

I'd love to see more of these! And I love your twist.

And as someone who firmly believes that people shouldn't hesitate to write based on a challenge if they so desire even if that challenge ended five years ago, I'm all for amnesty.

So I hope that even if only four people are interested, and you don't do the amnesty per se, those four write them anyway.

Happy to help with posting anytime if that would help too.

	I'm in. I hesitate to do so since for the last amnesty i pulled out. but it's the only one i've ever pulled out of and after March 20th my life is going to get FAR less chaotic. So it should be doable. Plus you've added the temptation of writing for my own drabble.... (Reply to this)

I was sick, as I think you know and as soon as I got better I had a million places to be at once and just started a new job today. I worked and worked but couldn't even get half through mine. This is what you mean by Amnesty correct? That I may write my idea and give it to you and you'll forgive my missing the deadline. ??? If so, then yes, it is a firm, definite yes. Without a doubt it will be finished. I'd planned to keep writing it either way.

	Okay, great! Thank you on both counts. I saw that you wrote for my drabble. cheers I haven't read them yet, doing that tomorrow cause I don't work. But I'm tired from my first official day today.
