This morning at approximately 4 am, numerous green ribbons appeared throughout the campus grounds, each turning five times before rising into the air, forming a large band. As music played, the band hovered above the entire campus, revolving slowly at first and then gaining speed. As the music reached the crescendo/bridge, loud applause seeming to come from all sides rang out. The band broke apart into butterflies, flew around in one final lazy circle, and faded away as the music reached the end, fading away with the applause.

[OOC: And with that, The Path Not Taken/Traveled event is over! Your AU2 characters are either in the process of being put back into their original universes/timelines, and your PA! characters should be getting back around the same time. The entire green butterfly thing was time mending itself, and the applause is from the universe. (It made more sense in my head, okay? Go with it :p). Thanks to everyone for participating and I'm glad you all enjoyed it! As I mentioned, your affected character's memories will linger for a little bit, but fade. Have fun with that, and again, thanks a lot. :D
edit @ 5:13 am: I was asked this by Lisa and felt like editing it in here. The physical transition will be instant, with all injuries/wounds being erased since they don't exist on the PA version of your character. The outfits your AU 2 variant was wearing will stick around, though, since they count as objects and they didn't vanish at the end of the event. Your AU2 character's memories will linger and then fade, like normal. -rewritten to be clearer what. :V-]

When: July 29, late evening.
Where: Near the campus grounds for the majority, then the campus for the conclusion.
Warnings: Violence, language (from Mulder), character death (and revival!) and Mulder having his world view challenged repeatedly by a magic using maid. Also, stuffed dolls turning into guns.

Approximately at 4 AM this morning, a quick dispresing energy wave shot over the campus, vanishing almost as quickly as it arrived. The side effects, if any, have yet to be seen.

[Welcome to the kick off post! As it said, the campus has now been hit by the universal energy wave and your participating characters are either being overwritten or have already been overwritten with their Au2 counterparts. Have fun you guys! :D]

Since it's past 12AM EST, the campus should now be back to its normal looks, splicers, Little Sisters and Big Daddies are now gone. So is Doctor Tenenbaum and Atlas/Fontaine (of course since he's dead, lawls) however Jack will be remaining. (More on that in a moment.)

So now you may all remove bioshocknpcs from your lists.

EDIT Because I forgot to mention, the network system is now back up so the paper journals will be disappearing. Also communication from the grounds is back to normal (i.e. calls will not drop) and the sky is back to normal.

In a while from now someone will post the victory and the campus will begin to return to normal, splicers, big daddies and little sisters will be gone by tomorrow evening. [ooc; Fontaine's "final battle" will take place on the soccer/football field. There are three "forms" to Fontaine when you battle him and this will not be any different for the school. Please note that this battle will indeed be a long and grueling fight. The first form, is of the incinerate! plasmid and Fontaine resembles this for it. Once weakened by the party who will fight him and then drained of the ADAM in his body (which is Jack's job via a Little Sister's needle) he will move onto his second form, winter blast he appears looking like this. Again, the party will weaken him until Jack can manage to drain the ADAM from his body leading to his third and final form, electo bolt. For his last form, he looks like this. Weakened and drained, Fontaine will finally succumb and the school will be safe. As per the usual, any questions should be directed via AIM and we hope you had fun with this plot ♥!]
