You'll notice that the Western Media prompts have been handled a little differently; we're experimenting still. Also, please excuse any mistakes; all told we had over 2600 prompts and even split up as they were, things will slip past us.

So, you have a week; at some point in the evening on Thursday the 25th, I'll close the battle. Until then?

ETA: I am aware that most of the lists off site are all scrunched together. They shouldn't be and I'm working on it. Thanks for your understanding.

You only knew him for a short time, Eiji says to himself.

I knew him for a lifetime. From the moment we met to the moment we were parted.

After all these years, he still has the impression of Ash's body against him, his fingertips pressed against his.

The nightlamp was failing and streetlight cast eerie shapes on the far wall. Eiji lay on his back, fully-dressed, half-dreaming, when Ash set his hand, palm down, on Eiji's belly. It was a thoughtless, meditative gesture. His eyes were looking at something far away, but Eiji's heart skipped a beat.

Slowly, tenderly, he picked up the hand and brought it up to his lips, kissing the palm. He met Ash's leyes. His face was carefully expressionless. Eiji hated to see it like that.

'I'm not stupid,' he said, flushing. 'I know everybody already thinks we're doing it.'

'Doesn't mean we have to.'

'No.'

Eiji closed his eyes, and kissed the tip of Ash's index finger. He could feel it quiver, only for the fraction of a second.

Then there was another hand on his belly, and then Ash was kissing him, brokenly, passionately, clutching his shoulders until it hurt.

	Oh, this hurt in the best way possible. This is poignant and wonderful, and it just caught me, moment to moment. Absolutely beautiful. You only knew him for a short time, Eiji says to himself.
