Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Last Airbender, Haru/Katara, "don't fall in love with a travelling girl: she'll leave you broken-hearted"
Reaching one hand up to cup her face he knew he was doing wrong - the Avatar was in the next room along, for Earth's sake, but damn it she'd just saved him from a steel-encased Fire Nation prison and he wanted to thank her in the only way he knew.
Her face was innocent; too innocent for someone as mature as she was, carrying all the burdens she did, perhaps she would be glad to drop them all for just one night?
When he pressed his lips against hers and worried her full, full lips gently she responded with all the passion of a raging river, bearing him down into the murky depths and forcing his last twinges of conscience to slink back into their holes.
She was a pitter-patter of raindrops, hissing into transparency on his loosening and tightening muscles, a curse of calmness when his instincts wanted it frenzied.
She was a drizzle, a hot shower - sun-warmed and moon-chilled, soaking his skin with nips and kisses deep into his soul.
She was a torrent, a flood of burning water, smooth and pliant and caressing if he eased into her gently, and as she pressed ice-hardened fingers against a chest bare of earth-green robe his heart warmed slightly.
She showed mercy, time and again, driving him to the brink of breathlessness and voice-tearing groans and bringing him back - he hated her at the time but loved her for it -
And when he came, fluids lost into the gushing fountain that she was, he was lost to her hands, to her eyes, to her hair, to everything she gave to him...
And when she left, he remained still in that village rejoicing with their menfolk's return, a boulder eroded by sparkling waters in that late, late autumn.
