Jareth had watched the boy closely for years; not because he had a little brother or sister that could possibly be wished away to become another one of his goblins, but because of the sheer strength of the boy’s dreams. How fervently he wished, how desperately. Of all the people in the spirits-forsaken little town of Nibelheim, so close to his own stronghold, it was the boy who stood out more than anyone else.

Of course, he’d watched his mother when she was younger, but she’d focused her dreams so quickly and then lost them almost as fast, and proceeded to lose herself in parts of her mind even the Goblin King couldn’t go. But her son…oh, he was a prize.

He’d lost him for a while when the boy went to the human city, surrounded by iron and taint, but he’d finally come back to his mountain town, and Jareth had lured him away into the mountains the first night they’d been there, bringing pretty little Cloud to his stronghold and his bed.

Those dreams were so broken now, he reflected sadly as he looked upon the bowed golden head that had been hidden by the useless helm. So broken and shattered, and even now he was floundering around for something to settle on as a new dream with that powerful will of his. A little smile curved his lips, and he reached down to catch a delicate chin with white-gloved fingers.

“Hush, pretty. You’re beautiful the way you are, SOLDIER or not,” he murmured, and then drew Cloud close before he could protest, capturing his lips in a kiss.

He knew the boy would be confused, but he was still willing, and a good deal of that willingness came from how long Jareth had spent watching him and protecting him when he was younger. His subconscious mind recognized it and was comforted, enough that the Goblin King stripped the blue uniform away and brought his young body to aching pleasure.

“My lovely consort,” he purred, staring down into wide blue eyes even as his fingers worked with magic to open and relax and slick him, to prepare him for his cock. “Don’t worry about those losses. I’ve waited for you so long.”

“But-” For the first time that night, Cloud managed a word, and Jareth was quick to banish any others from his lips with a smooth slide into his body, feeling the vice-grip of heat around him that felt untouched by any other. So even the taint of the human city hadn’t been able to warp him, and that pleased him greatly. This boy would be his consort alone.

“Call my name, love. Let me hear you say it.” He reached down to wrap his hand around the developing cock, felt his boy clench around him, and watched those beautiful lips part on a tremulous moan.

“Jareth!” The boy fell from the pinnacle of pleasure, and Jareth kissed him to capture those sweet moans for his memories, even as he gave in to his own pleasure to mark him as his own. His consort, to be treasured, to mend those broken dreams and replace them with dreams far sweeter that he would do everything in his power to fulfill.

And there was no power in the world that could wrench his boy away.
