As one can imagine, it hasn't been easy for any of us in the aftermath of the fight.
In its wake, Z and I hope to provide some relief by formally inviting you all to the first ever Date Auction even, held for the benefit of the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. All proceeds will be given to charity, and we encourage anyone who is interested to sign up. Donations are, of course, welcome, and auctions can also include any services (powered or not) and items. In addition, they are implementing an option where bids can be made on behalf of a child in the hospital.

Everything in Laurie's previous post is correct. Here is some additional information I can offer:
• The creature's skin was incredibly durable and it took a lot of effort to injure it.
• When we were able to do damage, it bled some sort of sap-like substance instead of blood.
• It looked humanoid, like an experiment gone wrong or something genetically engineered .
• I'm almost certain it wasn't a vigilante. It didn't appear to have any cognitive thoughts and seemed like it was acting more on instinct than anything else.
LAURIEThe sinkhole caused the creature to be swallowed up by the earth, but [...] I can't guarantee that it's dead. It was still alive the last I saw of it.
