She’d never thought about why it was so easy for her to summon fire, why it never bit her, sank claws into her friends, or ate her possessions. It was a well-trained pet, and she its master. She assumed that was how it was for everyone.
But after her talk with Professor Snape this afternoon, she began to wonder. Was she really a pyromancer?
He said it was a very rare talent. One she should keep secret given the upcoming war.
Looking at the flame, she thought, any advantage.
