Remus was nodding off over his book, wondering how in the world he was going to make it through N.E.W.T.s in just a few days, when he heard footsteps on the stairs. And not just footsteps but giggling and chuckling and… kissing? Yes, definitely the smacking sound of eager kisses. ‘Merlin’s Beard!’ He had forgotten that James had taken Lily for a late night spin around the Quidditch pitch and had asked for privacy in the Gryffindor Common Room.

Without time to consider his options, Remus grabbed his book and dove behind his chair just in time. James and Lily came in, sounding out of breath but excited.

“That was wonderful, James,” Remus heard Lily say. “Thank you!”

“It was only wonderful because you could share it with me.” Remus heard the familiar fluttering of a snitch and knew it wasn’t James showing off any more; it was James setting the mood after a great night out.

“I can think of something else I’d like to share with you.”

Even though he was a meter or two away, Remus thought he could hear James’ heart racing in his chest. “Um… yeah?”

There was a pause and a little bit of laughter. “That was an invitation, Mister Quidditch Cup Winner.”

Remus heard the rustling of fabric, the thunk of a broom and helmet hitting the floor, the clatter of wands on the table. “Better move the cup. Don’t want to damage it,” James mumbled, sounding as though he were talking through a layer of clothing or hair or perhaps both. Then there were two small plopping sounds, one not far from Remus and the other right on Remus’ lap. James had stripped off his gloves and tossed them away.

The brown glove was thick and heavy. And even though the fabric was a little rough, there was more to the glove than that. It was warm and damp from James’ hand. Warm and damp in Remus’ lap.

“I want you to take me right here,” Lily murmured.

Remus winced. He didn’t want to hear this from his friends! This was the worst kind of intrusion. If they’d known he were hiding there, they would never be doing this. He didn’t want this to happen. And, yet, he wanted it desperately.

When James moaned, the sound went straight to Remus’ cock, making it spring up against his trousers. He set the book aside but kept a tight grip on the warm, leather glove.

Lily moaned a little as well, and Remus felt everything inside him flutter with arousal. He knew he shouldn’t, but he very carefully turned in place to peek out from behind the chair.

He caught a glimpse of James’ bare back and Lily’s smiling face. And, in reaction, he slipped his hand into the glove and gripped himself. If he stayed hidden, listened closely, and stroked himself, he might actually be able to fool himself into thinking he was right there with them.

	Yeeeeeeeeah........ I really only meant there to be a tiny little paragraph drabble to accompany the photo. And then all these storylines jumped to the surface, darn them! LOL The problem is, it take so long to put together all the LEGO and my mind is churning and by the time I'm done, I've got a little ficlet on my hands :-) Anyhoo, I'm glad you liked it so much! 	I wasn't sure the glove would show up properly in the photo, and admittedly when I took the photo I'd only meant him to have picked it up. But as I started writing the ficlet, it all came together so well :-) Thanks muchly! (Reply to this) (Parent)
